502 bad gateway Error ! What's going on?

I am getting this error from now every time i open a new topic it give me error 502 bad gateway i need to refresh the page twice or thrice times to open it . Why is this happening ?

It's not the first time that we get the error page of 502 bad gateway, try maybe clearing your browser cache but I think that people are DDOSing the forum, maybe hashocean ?

...it's completely normal. go to search and enter "502 error" and you'll see around 20 threads about it going way back to 2013. it should go away after some hours (or not).

by normal I mean it happens so frequently that it's considered as normal occurrence by some.

Yea i guess people are trying DDos here , I don't know why they hate the forum so much ? this forum gives you all information and questions to your answers .
I have cleared my cache but still getting the error .

I dont think it is DDoS attack.
It feels more like  rush-hours to me. Happens only specific hours during the day.
Check how many new account where created from the beginning of this year alone.
Crazy quantity if you ask me. That has to have some impact on forum's fluidity.

yes this think happens with me also some times whenever i want to go to profile or home page or view some other topics.
5-6 times or more that has happened with me but after 2-3 minutes refresh the page and always worked for me only once it take longer then i cleared my cookies and clear cache and then all started working again...

I think you should make a thread for it. Never got that problem here, doesn't look like it's tied with the 502 error (too many PMs maybe?). 5-10 minutes are pretty long.

Here was another DDoS attack few hours ago , at that time i was unable to open any of my PM etc.
Its an common issue with bitcointalk.org many people who are jealous of us DDoS the forum.

i remember this issue was raised few months ago and theymos commented it

i just also wanted to share that i also have same issue getting the error thinking that it is just my connection because after several refresh it will resolved by itself never thought that it is a site problem.

used to copy the text before sending it or in my phone i used to connect with uc browser which you can recover the text when you press the back button but it is still a little buggy

That is because you have too many PM's in your inbox/outbox. I don't think it is related to the 502 error.
