Bitcoin in the year 2100

I don't think anyone of people here on this forum can live till the year 2100, so it's not so much an exciting thing to think. Think about the next 25 years, 50 years is far enough.

It is fair enough if we would think about bitcoin in the next 5 to 10 years. Even 25 years is far enough for me. Because we do not know what tomorrow may bitcoin can bring us.

Many of us will not be anymore in next century. But, I think in 2100 bitcoin will be more stable and no1 crypto currency. And many people will use bitcoin. People will use bitcoin than bank. Supermarket will accept bitcoin.and many more thing...

It's really easy to implement Bitcoin payment processing as a way of self check-out at supermarkets. If they really wanted it, they would have done it a long time ago. The reason they haven't is because they need to maintain a labor market, in other words, give jobs to those who would otherwise be unemployed.

Yeah, Not too many people here can live till the next 50 years neither. But we can still think about it for our children, the next generation. We need to prepare for them. We owe them, a lot, after all.

In general, it is very difficult to predict what will happen in 2100, but I think Bitcoin the time, will be able to develop just unreal proportions.

There are two possibilities that can happen
1. bitcoin is still exist if the demand to bitcoin still high and much stocks exchange sites accept trading bitcoin.
2. bitcoin will disappear due we has find another digital currency or the young people maybe who the older has died before 2100.

Will world still be existing in 2100? That is so, so distant future. Even if I had crystal bowl I couldn't predict what will happen with bitcoin. If we survive, maybe will the bitcoin too, or some more progressive cryptocurrency will be developed. But this is all just science fiction, nobody can't say what is waiting for us in 2100.

people will use Bitcoin in routine life. it is more safe and secure compare to other currencies. Bitcoin will became most popular paying currency.

Taking into consideration that bitcoin will still be mined at 2100 and should stop at 2120 or something near those, bitcoin at those period should be worthing something like 2000-5000 dollars, and crypto world it would be recognized and legalized for a fee, soo banks and others wont block any funds.

Let's just assumed that you are around 30's by now and we are 2016 right now. 2100-2016 = 84, so probably 84 years from now

I think that time will be the time of bitcoin as with the passage of time bitcoin is going to be more famous among the people and the world is going to be a world of bitcoin with all the financial matter changing to be done in bitcoins. At that time I think bitcoin will be the global currency.

very difficult to predict bitcoin in 2100. we do not know what will happen in the next year, let alone 85 years. we can only hope that in the future will be an advanced bitcoin better.

True, the problem is the date is so far away that we can speculate anything and it has a chance to be true no matter how outrageous it may sound, so I think is better for us to concentrate in date ranges where we can actually make some kind of inference about what may happen.

I think big, very big things will happen within the next 10 years. I just saw a speech by andreas antonopulous on payment channels and he explains how lighting network works and what it can do for us. He talks about a new concept of "streaming money", fascinating stuff. Like being paid in real time instead of having to way at the end of the month to get paid. This will change the game.
