Bitcoin in the year 2100

i dont mind what the price would be by 2100 because i am certain that i wont be alive by that time but i would like to tell that technology keeps changing and who knows what the state of digital currency would be 20 years from now.

Yes you are right, even if it is very valuable or the price deflates if we are dead by that time then it is useless. So i will no longer mind myself of thinking about what happen to bitcoin at that time. Maybe I will adjust the year to 2021 because at that time I am still young and if bitcoins price will reach 10k$ I will be very thankful and I will buy a house and lot. I appreciate the authors idea but I just want to be realistic.

Even if we're all already dead at the year 2100, wouldn't you guys reproduce before you die? Of course you would. Looking for a long term investment like this would benefit even your grandson or maybe even your grandson's son. You can always pass on your bitcoin to your son and he'll be really happy to be rich by then.

Don't just think of yourself but also think of your future family that would definitely live long enough to reach the 22nd century. Maybe you're not the one who's going to enjoy all these money but your kids will definitely be forever thankful to you for investing money for their future.

My children are evil. I'm leaving everything to my cat and he already has more Bitcoin than I do.

Well, not everyone reproduces, most people do, but not everyone, so for those that don’t plan on having children then holding for that long or even caring does not make sense, there are not a lot of people like that but they exist.

Well, bitcoin would still alive at that time,  then probably bitcoin is already been largely used around the world, or  by 2100 the human civilization will be destroyed, so there wont be any bitcoin or any currencies.

As long as bitcoin still gaining its popularity and none of the technologies which are going to be invented and maybe far superior to bitcoin get bitcoin users attracted into it. And if you just saw Bitcoin are only used in darknet then you're just visiting darknet too much. try to surf on the clearnet and buy some stuff from the shop which accepts bitcoin

It would be happened only when bitcoin alive till 2100, than off course bitcoin might be cross 1 million USD. But in my point of view, may be some other crypto currency could be come just like bitcoin, than bitcoin has a comparison, in this way, bitcoin's users take turn to other popular crypto currency.

As long as bitcoin still gaining its popularity and none of the technologies which are going to be invented and maybe far superior to bitcoin get bitcoin users attracted into it. And if you just saw Bitcoin are only used in darknet then you're just visiting darknet too much. try to surf on the clearnet and buy some stuff from the shop which accepts bitcoin

I don't think that is a crazy prediction by any means. In fact it is very likely that USd won't even last till 2100 because fiat usually collapses after around a 60-70 year lifecycle, at maximum. right now it's already around 50-60 years when the US abandoned the gold standard.

It is highly likely that the US currency will be severely inflated in 2100.

I believe that by the year 2100 everything gets digitalized. Also most countries will be having their own digital currency. Fiat might be still in use. Possibly bitcoin will be used as a currency by our generations.

Why youre excited about that? Are you still alive at that time?
Anyway, if bitcoin make it to 2100, there are many coins that are immitated from bitcoin will rise and more developed than bitcoin. Maybe governments are going to create their own cryptocurrency. Payment options i guess will be digitalized. Bitcoin value will increase.

I think more people would turn on using bitcoin in that year because in that year, bitcoin would be the money or currency that we are all using. We are going to have a fastest transaction than we could ever had because of bitcoin. Everything would be change because of this, our world would become easier to manage if we have all the fast things in the world.
