If i need it for urgent thing , i will hold it . But if i don't want it , i will send back to the address. But it's very rarely to make it happen , but the chances for get this is good.

Its really difficult to find the real person once you received it as even if you return it back then you need to make sure that you sent it to the right person.

There's no such thing at making it happen because a wallet address is so specific and case sensitive that if you mistype one word it might not have a owner on where the address you send it.

There's no such thing at making it happen because a wallet address is so specific and case sensitive that if you mistype one word it might not have a owner on where the address you send it. If you mistype one character of an address chances are that it would fail validation and your wallet would not even allow you to send coins to that mistyped address.

Let's say you wake up some day and you get like 1 BTC. For me this is a lot. What do you do? You return back the BTC to the owner, do you keep it? and why.
I don't know what I would do to be honest. I mean who knows if the guy that just sent you this is a criminal or a good man? Very tough decision. For someone like me that has a small BTC wallet and is trying to make as much BTC as possible before its too late due price going too high, it would be hard to return it, but I would feel bad to keep it too.
yeah this is real tough, I think I would make a post on here and have them prove they own the wallet and it was a mistake and if so I would return it

this is a question of morality, lets say what if it was you who made the mistake and lost the coins? wouldn't you want your coins to be sent back to you as soon as possible? Just do what ever to whom ever as you like others to do with your self.

Thew honest thing would be to return what is not yours. Always put yourself in somebody else shoes andw you will know what is the right thing to do. And you don't know where this coins are coming fromw, so you might get into truoble..

Well for me this question depends if the sender knows me or not since people would not just mistakenly send you bitcoin since addresses to each account is very different and rare to have an almost the same address. So this got me curious that people who copied your address would know you or it could in a site that has an event for bitcoin and mistakenly sens the wrong amount. So I would definitely say that I would not send back the amount that I received if i dont know sender.

well yeah but in my opinion a lot of people would just keep it in their wallet but i doubt that it would be a great decision, i would recover it most probably because people who use it really would need it i think

if i receive a large enough amount that it is considered big then i would most probably return it to its owner because it is not my money to keep and i would never like to be on the other end of this situation myself. but before doing it would ask for a signed message from the sending address first to make sure he is telling the truth.

For me it would highely depend on the guy. I would try and read his attitude from what he says to me, if he demands the btc then i probablt wouldnt send it back, but if hes nice i would. Seriously, how is he going to say anything to you? Yeah agree with how would say that they want back his bitcoin? when they don't know that who had bitcoin address ? because there is no any name in bitcoin address? because bitcoin is anonymous? I'm sure the owner can not make contact with you. so if you make a mistake send bitcoin. better let it go

Yeah, that's a rather odd scenario, but if that were the case, I would lie of I said I'd give it back.

This pretty hard. Some instances when I dont always check my wallet. I just earn and earn and I will only check it before Going to sleep. So there is a possiblility that I won't notice it. Even if someone begs to return it to him/her. I wont unless you have a proof

1 bitcoin is getting near to about a $700 so i am not sure if i am strong enough to resist keeping it. that would be a hard thing to give it back. but if i see the real owner asking for it back i would most probably give it back to him.

I would send back bigger amounts but low amounts are not worth finding the righteous person they came from. It is very hard announcing

this is a difficult question. if ever i got 1 btc honestly the fisrt that comes in my mind is to keep it but there is always a good side within us. i think at the end i will send it back to the owner no matter what my financial situation is.

XD Sneak on a gambling site, earn an extra 1BTC then return it back to him if you're successful. If you fail then i guess you can just say it was tough luck. But in order for someone to send you bitcoin they must have been feeling generous, so i would accept that i was given so much; It would be nice to return the favor in some way though.
