Let me say true about this if ever I received some bitcoins randomly than surely I would like to keep it for me, I'll never send it to back to that address and will consider it as a gift from God.
Hahaha god just gave you a whole bitcoin, what a good god! Im joking of course but the thing is that if you would send it into bad address you wouldnt expect to get it back.

Not only me no one can return bitcoin that they are received randomly or mistakenly. Everyone in the world is working just for money and if they get free money than how they will get back this money or bitcoins?? But i have believe that there are some people that will return the bitcoins if they received by mistake but if the person want back that money i think the greed of man will come when they see a free bitcoin is present in their wallets, I'm not a hypocrite that I also possess it? maybe I'll save and use the money within a certain period if they are not contacted me, i think there are many people who would agree with me But some people is nothing become a greedy man if they see a free bitcoin presents. but just a little percentage but I sure the most people will become a greedy man about it. it's just free and you don't need to do anything. I would be extremely delighted to receive random BTC. Well money does make everybody greedy and who wouldn't like to receive unexpected money. If I got random BTC I would save it and somebody claims it then I would only return 85% of the total money. I would cut 15% for my sincerity hahahaha !!!!

Let's say you wake up some day and you get like 1 BTC. For me this is a lot. What do you do? You return back the BTC to the owner, do you keep it? and why.
I don't know what I would do to be honest. I mean who knows if the guy that just sent you this is a criminal or a good man? Very tough decision. For someone like me that has a small BTC wallet and is trying to make as much BTC as possible before its too late due price going too high, it would be hard to return it, but I would feel bad to keep it too.
for me it depends on the situation if i know who sending it to me. i dont see areason why i dont give it back to them.if i dont know whos sending it tome i acept it as a gift of course Me too, i will not return until and unless the sender proves it and needs it badly. I think sending it back is like kicking your own fortune. Though, I would never like to scam and return it in case he thinks that way and gets serious like I am running away with his bitcoins.

Hi, having a bitcoin in my wallet unexpectedly, is really good. Who doesn't want bitcoins. I might even think that it is a blessing from the above. But what if this bitcoin was just sent to me by mistake? Should I return it? For me my answer is yes because here in my country , there is a law related to Quasi-contract and the law about it says that no-one should be unjustly enriched at the expenses of another. So it means if you receive money or good by mistake, you have the obligation to return it to the real receiver or real owner.

Haha Yeah, receiving BTC randomly will really make everyone feel delighted. I would like to think that you are so kind since you will return the money to the owner but after reading that you will not return the whole amount of bitcoin because you will cut 15% for you sincerity, hahha I have changed my mind. It is not sincerity at all right. Cause if you are really sincere you will return the whole amount without expecting anything.

If you found a random lost wallet on the street or in a public bus or something would you return it granted that you could see the owner's address in there? If you are a honest person with morals you know what the right thing to do is. I guess you could ask yourself the same question if you received a random Bitcoin transaction to your wallet that doesn't belong to you/wasn't intended for you and as you could see the sending address you could decide what the moral thing to do in that instance is.
Yes Wendigo, if I found a random lost wallet in a public place and I saw the person who lost it, I would probable call his/her attention and talk to him regarding the lost wallet because my parents taught me so well and as what the saying says, Do unto others as you would want other do unto. But in the bitcoin world, it is entirely different since we are transacting anonimously so it will be hard for us to determine who is the real owner.

If i know where to send back the bitcoins then i will return it. though it would be great having a coins came from nowhere i still cant enjoy money that is originally not mine.
I will make a compensation with the sender, ask him to take some back as he is the right owner while if he likes then let me keep some as I was the one fortunate and deserve something for my honestly Haha you will make compensation with the sender? Why? I dont think that you have the right. Yes it is given that that she sends it wrongly and it is her mistake that the bitcoins were sent into your wallet but I dont think it is right and just to ask for a compensation from the owner just for you to return the bitcoins which is not supposed to be yours, it is like blackmailing him or her. But it will be fine if pay you voluntarily for your kindness.

If it is a small amount, then I will ignore it , as if it did not happen. That is my way of keeping it. If big amount, like over 100 coins, yeah I will return it. For that amount, it is enough for someone to do things crazy, like putting a price on me.?

This question is hard to aswer, if i got 1000btc i dont know what i would do even 500 btc, sure mistakes usually happens on portions, lets say maybe 0,01btc wrong adress, this is pennies soo can be refunded or not. Almost all people here looks to be honest, but if you are on the street and 50 dollars cross your fingers or stop at your shoes, you wont be asking people in the street who lost the money...im honest people but i dont know what i would do i hope no one make such mistake to donate bitcoin to random adress.
The chances of us receiving 1000btc randomly actually nigh-impossible. It is even easier to win the lottery than randomly receiving bitcoins as there are millions. billions probably, of addresses. But if I were to receive bitcoins randomly, I would return it, given that the sender asks me to return it. If not, then I wouldn't. Simple as that.

I will negotiate with the sender and keep a cut. Maybe 10%, or 30%, up to 50%, then sent the rest back. It is not right to keep them all, also not right that sender goes unpunished, since Bitcoin is a irreversible.

I would send back bigger amounts but low amounts are not worth finding the righteous person they came from. It is very hard announcing
oh wow, i doubt that i would send back even more than i got but i would most probably return it back, i hope i will never get any bitcoins on accident as it would be a trouble for me I too would return it, however, I'd be honest that I would have liked some form a compensation for that bit of a trouble. I'm not asking much, but maybe around 5% of those coins? But of course, only if they'd want to. Lol I think if you're willing to rturn it surely you will not ask for any bonus unless they give voluntarily to you. may not be a problem if you ask for a fee transaction but if you give they the 5% benchmark as it was like you were not sincere? what if the amount was around 10 BTC. You will be asked for 0.5 BTC?

It would be pretty hard for somebody to inadvertently send you a bitcoin. Why would it be hard for somebody to send someone a bitcoin? It happened a lot of times. If they are too rich and the are too careless when it comes to their transactions online or it happened when someone is so excited to send a bitcoin that is why they are not double checking it to see if it is the real bitcoin address where they really want to send their bitcoins. How lucky for the wrong receiver and I feel sorry for the excited sender. hahaha

Where you can find the owner of this amount? it's randomly and I never think you can find that. if you can find the owner of this amount I believe you can become a rich people can help a big company to finish they cases like DAO.

Just 1 BTC it's amazing for a randomly account or transaction.

Honestly no one will do that. If it realy happen with much enough amount, say it 100 btc, people sell it on the marketplace and transfer the money to their bank account. And they will close their wallet account instantly. Tell me if i wrong.
