They are probably worried they'd catch a bullet from a ETH / Monero hired hitman  Cheesy

@OP
Well said !
You made a solid effort and it all seemed fairly honest & reasonable.
If you have more to post then yeah go for it !

I read 90% of it all and i learned a little ..why ?
I never invested in one EVER !
..but i was thinking they ran pretty much like that Wink

PS:
I can take down 20 of those bought accounts if i wanted to but..
I don't have the motivation to chase these fuckers around.
I wait for the big ones to crawl out of the ANN section where i am waiting on my bridge  Cool

To be honest, am just waiting for the shills to begin attacking these threads too.
Pretty sure I have attracted some hate with these threads.
I had a few hit me up on skype saying I am "begging" since I have been seeking employment and donations.

Glad I could contribute in some way Smiley

Really.. This is a good article and very useful...
Thanks #Cryptor0th...

You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed reading it.

Only from Eth/Monero? Hell I've got paycoin/Eth/some Bitcoin on me (which could increase in the future if these morons dont increase blocksize to 2MB).

In either case I wouldnt want to be you  Cheesy

Well...funny thing is that up until this point we have promoted Litecoin as a compliment to Bitcoin. We (we = the LA and core team) recognize that Bitcoin has been tried and true, and Litecoin follows Bitcoin in terms of best representing the original ideals and ethos that Satoshi laid out, which was financial freedom. However with the block size debate, the Litecoin team disagrees with both sides on how to handle increase usage worldwide, and we plan to work towards that. Hence my recent tweet.

Remember #Litecoin will always have the these requirements 1. Stable 2. Secure 3. Utilized as an alternate payment method 4. Scale as needed

In addition (without going down a diatribe), the requirement of "Utilized as an alternate payment method" is not defined for Bitcoin now with the current group of developers. This has a significant impact on the vision and future development for Bitcoin.

Honestly, I can care less if people decide to "invest" in Litecoin. I dont work with the LA to have people invest in Litecoin, I do it to have people utilize Litecoin as a payment method.

We are going to release a road map Sunday on the future of the LA and core development, you should check it out!

I wouldn't describe it is as being better but it can serve well as a "secondary" blockchain (and IMO that is a sensible thing to have).

Although the only main difference is the use of Scrypt vs. SHA256 software glitches such as the one that led to the 2013 forking issue might be avoided if such changes were live tested on the smaller (but still economically significant) alternative.

That being said if it diverges too much from the Bitcoin code then such testing might become either impossible or much less useful.

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

I don't want to veer too far off topic but Wink

I did get a PM way back from a guy saying he was crowd funding a hit on me basically.
Not sure how much money he raised or how serious he was but he ONLY asked for Bitcoin.
Too bad.. he could have got more if he accepted various shitcoins ROFL
I have posted it around crypto a few times.. http://pastebin.com/sDV6rWiB

But.. I am still here  Cool

But i raised a good point no ?
Since the stakes have gone far higher and now we have super millionaires making scammy ICO's with billion dollar cap's maybe they will start murdering FUD'ers ?

To them i say.. you can't stop me, i will FUD from the grave !

If Monero (Risto) and Ethereum (Butterin) pool their money together who knows what they could accomplish Wink

To be honest I don`t know who to blame more ppl investing or people making ICO to get rich fast, the hype started most with ethereum so now many miners I know would invest in ICO because they think that is the one which can make them rich

They don`t care what it do or even does it do anything, the primary goal is to have profit as fast as possible, and we know that is not possible, someone has to lose for other to gain
And if you say something bad about project or try to reason, they will behave as kids who lost lollipop

I blame the investors. People wouldn't try these shameless cash grabs if they didn't smell blood in the water. And this is because we have literal children that can't spell due diligence investing in these assets. The SEC has a purpose, if this sphere were regulated, people wouldn't even be able to advertise some of this stuff.

How can you explain the RISE team, they do have photos, linkedin profiles and one of the team named Alty had once been involved with Cloak Coin, which up to now it circulates and somehow got good value as well. They're the only team i've seen showing faces really. Lisk, waves, Dlisk did show only one person as the lead dev.

It didnt start with ether,  it has been happening for years now.  Most altcoins serve no purpose other than a pump and dump profit for early investors. More people are starting to see that now.

I think its a 2 way game

1. Sometimes investors hype projects intentionally with the intention of an early exit making younger, new investors take losses
2. Devs hype exceedingly making Investors take a loss.

While am anti-regulation (personally) - It'd be interesting to see if smart contracts and other innovation on the blockchain can help curb some of the embezzlement occuring in the ecosystem atm.

i can't say all of them are scammy really the fact that they are attending meetings with other dev team. Waves have been meeting with different people and has picture posted for ever news.  Sasha even posted a picture with all the ladies almost all naked.   i know that was edited. Smiley

They are all scams, no exceptions.  They all try to claim that they are different this time and they all get proven to be a shit show for the investor over time.

I think one thing I really did miss out on is how individuals partaking in such ICO's often start out with good intentions and end up with wrong results owing to greed, teams splitting and similar reasons.
I am trying to get a book written on one of the biggest names in the field. However, this is contingent on his agreement. He's fairly mad at me for this post though.  Cry

Thank you very much for the post, I am some newbie in the ICOs, but this will help me and many other people, to prevent and investigate more, to know who to trust and who not.
