Well...funny thing is that up until this point we have promoted Litecoin as a compliment to Bitcoin. We (we = the LA and core team) recognize that Bitcoin has been tried and true, and Litecoin follows Bitcoin in terms of best representing the original ideals and ethos that Satoshi laid out, which was financial freedom. However with the block size debate, the Litecoin team disagrees with both sides on how to handle increase usage worldwide, and we plan to work towards that. Hence my recent tweet.

Remember #Litecoin will always have the these requirements 1. Stable 2. Secure 3. Utilized as an alternate payment method 4. Scale as needed

In addition (without going down a diatribe), the requirement of "Utilized as an alternate payment method" is not defined for Bitcoin now with the current group of developers. This has a significant impact on the vision and future development for Bitcoin.

Honestly, I can care less if people decide to "invest" in Litecoin. I dont work with the LA to have people invest in Litecoin, I do it to have people utilize Litecoin as a payment method.

I wouldn't describe it is as being better but it can serve well as a "secondary" blockchain (and IMO that is a sensible thing to have).

Although the only main difference is the use of Scrypt vs. SHA256 software glitches such as the one that led to the 2013 forking issue might be avoided if such changes were live tested on the smaller (but still economically significant) alternative.

That being said if it diverges too much from the Bitcoin code then such testing might become either impossible or much less useful.

I did get a PM way back from a guy saying he was crowd funding a hit on me basically.
Not sure how much money he raised or how serious he was but he ONLY asked for Bitcoin.

It didnt start with ether,  it has been happening for years now.  Most altcoins serve no purpose other than a pump and dump profit for early investors. More people are starting to see that now.

I think its a 2 way game

1. Sometimes investors hype projects intentionally with the intention of an early exit making younger, new investors take losses
2. Devs hype exceedingly making Investors take a loss.

While am anti-regulation (personally) - It'd be interesting to see if smart contracts and other innovation on the blockchain can help curb some of the embezzlement occuring in the ecosystem atm.

i can't say all of them are scammy really the fact that they are attending meetings with other dev team. Waves have been meeting with different people and has picture posted for ever news.  Sasha even posted a picture with all the ladies almost all naked.   i know that was edited.

They are all scams, no exceptions.  They all try to claim that they are different this time and they all get proven to be a shit show for the investor over time.

I am trying to get a book written on one of the biggest names in the field. However, this is contingent on his agreement. He's fairly mad at me for this post though.
