The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Good to see that the community around this coin is still striving hard to support its price and to find usage for it to push the price up. My friend is still staking this coin and just waiting for the price to go up. He still believes that this can create a comeback with the help of people around it. It appears that people are coming back to altcoins and here's to hoping that some of them take a look at this coin and invest in it. Just drop the bass and not the price.  Wink

yeah but what can you do if the coin has so much supply....nothing..

Well what about Doge then? It has a much bigger supply and look where it is. That is why so many of use here are saying that if 808 coin does get used as a currency then the price will come back up. Doge is accepted in many places now and we just need to get 808 coin accepted in more places as well, I tried to get a casino to accept Doge a while ago back they were not taking any new coins. Once this happens then we might see 808 coin rise again.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

There is no max supply for 808 coin, its just like Doge which also has no max supply. Now the number of coins you can earn from staking depends on the number of coins you have staking. The minimum most of the community recommends is at least 250k to 500k the more the better. You will earn your staking reward in 9+ days depending on how many coins you are staking. For example 250k will take roughly 15+ days to earn a stake, its around 17% every 8 days but every day after the 8.08 days it adds 2% but its best to try and stake every 9 to 10 days to compound faster and earn more coins in the long term.

QUESTION:

Is it even possible to run an 808 QT wallet on a Raspberry Pi 3 running Raspbian?  I don't seem able to find any wallet for this system and I don't seem able to compile it from source either.

I tried git clone the project into my raspberry and when I go into the 808 source directory ./xcomp.sh will exit in error.  I tried to go into ./src/ and I do  make -f makefile.unix I get a bunch of errors too and does not compile.  I'm fairly new to Linux/Raspbian compiling (after weeks I was able to compile a BTX wallet but that is unrelated to this) so any help to get 808 running in raspbian is helpful.  (If at all possible). My Raspberry uses an ARM type processor, so this might be a problem.  Is there any apt-get install for this???

Question to the DEV:

What is planned for 2018 ?
What kind of development are on the roadmap for 2018?

Why should I keep my 808 coins ?
Looking at the current price and the potentials in other coins, I tend to sell my bag.

This coin is currently priced low and I know a lot of people dumped this coin thinking this is not worth holding. However, I would like to let people know that this is one of those old coins that has been around for a long time and has proven it's value with time. So, I am pretty sure that this is going to prove itself, and all I want say is people HODL you coins for the day is not far when you will pat your back and say, you made a rightful decision. For those who are thinking of getting some POS coins, make sure this is on your list.

Have a nice day.
