Yes - multilingual is one of the first things we want to put in.
Until about a week ago it was all hand coded HTML and not under source control so quite laborious to update.
It is now in github.com (
https://github.com/jim618/multibit-website - be sure to select the 'Jekyll' branch) which means you can just update via git. We will probably have it update automatically on a git push, see:

Saivann (the guy behind the Bitcoin.org redesign) has very kindly let us reuse the infrastructure work he has done (this uses Jekyll to create the site). Gary is reworking things to use Bootstrap so that it will look a lot nicer.
At that point it will be a lot nicer looking version of what currently exists but there is a tonne of scope to add more content. We just don't have the free time to do this so we are looking for someone who is interested in pushing it further.
