We are currently upgrading the multibit.org website to use Jekyll and Bootstrap. The whole site is going onto github.com.

2013 is going to be the biggest year yet for Bitcoin. We are looking for someone to breathe life into multibit.org. There is no payment for your time and energy and everything will be open sourced.

Our ultimate goal is to roll out Bitcoin to the whole planet. Most people would consider this to be an impossible task. If you disagree and
want to make it happen please get in touch.

Please post here or PM me and introduce yourself.

What's wrong with the current version? Are you thinking of making it multilingual?

Yes - multilingual is one of the first things we want to put in.

Until about a week ago it was all hand coded HTML and not under source control so quite laborious to update.
It is now in github.com (https://github.com/jim618/multibit-website - be sure to select the 'Jekyll' branch) which means you can just update via git. We will probably have it update automatically on a git push, see: http://gary-rowe.com/agilestack/2012/12/14/how-to-deploy-static-sites-with-git/ .

Saivann (the guy behind the Bitcoin.org redesign) has very kindly let us reuse the infrastructure work he has done (this uses Jekyll to create the site).   Gary is reworking things to use Bootstrap so that it will look a lot nicer.

At that point it will be a lot nicer looking version of what currently exists but there is a tonne of scope to add more content. We just don't have the free time to do this so we are looking for someone who is interested in pushing it further.
