I've made the worst miss click mistakes when gambling or playing poker from my laptop without a mouse.  Apparently I'm no good with just the touchpad and I need a mouse, lol

Thats not a mistake, thats the reward for you of being a fool. You should be able to do it with one of your eyes closed , no excuse on it. Even if it only rely on luck, concentration is needed so that you wont misclick or even wager the wrong amount. It happened to alot of people already though

That depends on the mistake though. You can call those happy mistakes if you suddenly did an all in and won. That would be the best story of your life if it happened. Though if you missed click and did an all in then lost, then that is why you are posting here. It really differs on the outcome of the bet and not really on opinions.

It's happened to me last week. I won 0.2 btc. I made myself greedy and play more then I lost all my wining  and all the saving to zero to recover the lost amount. now I hate myself why couldn't I stop myself when I won.

We really can't control the game alone and this is the mistake that every gambler experience. When we think that we are able to beat the house but this is just leading us to frustration because we do really can't beat the house alone. We have to depend on our skills and luck alone but not all the time skills and luck isn't enough.

I also agree with you on this that the worst mistake in gambling is simply being over confident. Once you have bet your money, then you should opt for playing on the safer side as a next step. Never think about winning against the casinos all alone.

It is not possible to do so just by depending on your luck and skills. Gamblers need to be more conscious about the environment in which they are playing and stay calm as much as they can.

There are some strategy to play the game but there's no strategy to win or to beat the house. Most gambling games are purely depends on luck and as I know, no one will able to know when his luck will come, no matter how hard he tries to reveal it.

Concentrate when you play. Sometimes , most people chat while they play which makes them kinda lose their concentration. When someone lose their concentration, these kind of mistake going to happen. Sometimes people are not really going to admit this as their mistake because majority will blame the site for this

Short but right nevertheless. Gambling with money you can't afford to lose could be the worst mistake you can make in gambling. If you bet and you lose the bet it's okay as long as you don't lose big money for you. You play the game, you enjoy it and no one suffers from that, neither you nor your family or your loved ones.

Sometimes we have a problem on understanding what amount or value that we can gamble that we can afford to lose, because prior to the actual gambling we think this money is something we can afford to lose but when we eventually lose that money we think we still have to gamble to recover our loses.
My definition of an amount that we can afford to lose is something that does not really affect us, but it's hard in real practice IMO.

Oh, that's an easy part. The maximum amount you can afford to lose in one day should be calculated this way:

(The amount you make per month) / 300

In other words it should be below 0.33% of what you make per month. Thus you will never lose in one month more than 10% of you make, which is a lot, of course, but bearable.

This is a very interesting idea but I think losing 10% of your monthly income is simply too high, some experts recommend saving 20% of your monthly income for your retirement and if you add another 10% to that then that means that your income gets reduced in a 30% and that is before you have spent a single penny, in food, rent, debts and utilities.

It is not worst mistake but it is really a foolish mistake. Sometimes people are betting everything that they have and hope that they will win. Everything comes with a risk and by wagering that, you should be aware that you have the chance to lose as well not only the chance to win some money

Being a gambler ain't that smart either. But hey, who am I to say such a thing, gamblers just want to pass time and have fun or relieve stress. So ok back to topic., i really haven't made such stupid things in gambling because i never did gamble i just don't want to because i see it as nothing but a waste of time and energy. you might placed that allin bet consciously, there's a lot of people do that accidentally which make it worst mistake i guess. don't be selfish and greedy , when you win just cash them out. don't think about another way to make doubled, tripled etc , it won't have an ending believe me. quit while you can could be your best choice.

NO gambling isn't a mistake, we have free will to choose if we will gamble. Don't blame gambling for being a worst mistake as everything has it's purpose to be there and we have our choice if we will stick or stay with it. And if you are not a responsible gambler for sure you will be ending up having a cover to cover page of debt.
