I did not understand about this question because I think  gambling and betting the same thing equally in gambling
betting one type of gambling, gambling consists of several types of games one is betting commonly used in sports gambling

If you ask me about betting and some types of gambling I'm more profit from betting but not from winning  bet only profit from the various promotions and contests

I wouldn't say that gambling is better then betting or vice versa. You don't have absolut control in none of this and more or less you need a great deal of luck to win some substantial sum. Or any sum at all.

It will end up with the same results mostly ., as for both you can make your calculations with the luck factor and rules involved.
Try both and pick a side where the most luck is in your pocket

Unless you can get better odds than what whatever site offers you versus what the reality is, even betting is rigged against you.
In other words, it's not very different than a slot machine.

I would to say that betting is the safest way, in gambling is just pure of luck, even the site is provably fair still your luck can make you loss
in betting you need to do research about team you decided pick, and the percentage to loss actually small if you find the right thing about it

i think there is no difference between bitting gambling. in gambling we do bitting. i thiink in both gambling nd biting we can control our self. if we want to. because it is up to us how much we want o gamble and when to stop. there no restriction of gambling and on stopping.

You may argue that with 'betting' you can achieve certain amount of probability and control of your bets. After all  what could go wrong if you bet something and odds are @1.08 or something low?
But I lost couple 'sure bets' and lived though many upsets where underdogs won with much more renowned opponents. I can tell you this: Gambling is gambling no matter what.

Betting and gambling is the same thing on my opinion both things depend on luck so i dont think there is much difference between them only that betting is calculatedc and gambling is more riskier in my opinion

maybe some members found that gambling and betting are the same but for me it's completely different, the gambling site use a scrypt and others ways to make high thier profit and many players lose.
in betting the win and loss depend on the team wher you palce your bet if the team or prsone win you win with, if loss you loss with, there is no scrypt manipulation no favorite players no doubt.

Definitions from google search. I wish to show you that betting is just part of gambling, important one. You can put a bet on everything and anything. I understand you wish to compare betting on sport events and casino games, but you choose wrong headline. Its simple and its a fact that before roulette spin you put a bet, in poker before pot everyone need to put a bet, if you play dices you need to put a bet for every throw, so if you wish to gamble on sport you need to put a bet on the game..when ever you put a bet on something, you are gambling and take a risky action in the hope of desired result.

I think OP has a point. The two mean the same thing in the gambling world but they have different implications. Betting may have 2 meanings. 1. Place money where you think it is lucky. [/b]2.[/b] Put your money on where your analysis is. Gambling can be a general term and it's the same as taking risks. Mostly "betting" is used on two entities playing against each other. As to gambling is most used on dice or any related games.

Alright fine. Bit what about these tipsters ? Some really know what they doing. I mean you can't tell me flipping a coin is the same as picking a winning team. One team is always more likely to win. So what about that ? I mean you dont gambling threads where you follow peoples choices.

You cannot say Gambling vs Betting because Betting is a form of gambling. You can bet in DICE, in Sportsbet. But i prefer to bet in Sportsbet because there are many tipster in the gambling section. You just need to review all their tips and pick the one that has been pick by many tipster.

They both have their own definition and purpose. For gamblers you cant complete the process of gambling without betting or else you will just be a mare spectator if you are just waiting for a result with out the actual betting.

You can sit on a table with poker players but that doesn't mean you are gambling.

I think OP has made a mistake in his title, gambling and betting are the same thing, so it would be odd for OP to ask that. I think he means to say Gambling vs Sports Betting, as Sports Betting doesn't have a house edge.

In that case, yes, I used to place bets at dice and not win often, but now I bet on sports and I win much more frequently. I bet small amounts for fun, but I can still look at my winning history and it's better than the history I had at dice. So yes, sports betting is better if done right.
