Sport betting might be more fun because you hang out with your friends and eat and have alot of fun watching the game. But its alot of work and harder to predict the outcome. With dice its much faster and easier.

I agree online or offline with sports you most of the time make bets. Either with friends or a bookmaker. Which is why I like that a lot.
With dice it's just a game you are playing against the PC and the bad thing is you can lose money when you lose against the computer.

I would to say that betting is the safest way, in gambling is just pure of luck, even the site is provably fair still your luck can make you loss
in betting you need to do research about team you decided pick, and the percentage to loss actually small if you find the right thing about it

Well seems thread starter is confused between this two words, or maybe he is telling that betting has lesser risk than playing other kind of gambling .  Anyway I agree that betting in sports is somehow have lesser risk than playing dice with computer.  Regardless of the game result being fixed. You have a fair 50% chance of winning, unlike this programmed computer gambling games.

I think OP ment sports betting and not just betting, and gambling like rest of casino games. Well there is a big difference between this two things, like there is a big difference between many gambling games.
Sports betting can be safer, if you follow some sport you know who is better and who have better results and by the odds you see favorites. But all that doesn't mean nothing sometimes. We see surprises from time to time and thats it, but if you are smart you can catch that and bet on surprise and make higher profit.

Yes in sports betting you have a chance to make some profit. But in gambling games, it is not 99% it is full 100% luck we need to earn money. Yes in casino games like Dice game we can not guess exactly next roll which number will come. So we randomly choose one number if it is correct we win our bet else it's lost.

But sports betting is having a lot higher house edge than compared to the dice and plinko or any other form of gambling, because of this I prefer dice gambling over any other form of gambling.

i think there is no difference between bitting gambling. in gambling we do bitting. i thiink in both gambling nd biting we can control our self. if we want to. because it is up to us how much we want o gamble and when to stop. there no restriction of gambling and on stopping.

Actually that is general answer, but to be specific I think he wants to know which is better : sports betting or dice betting ? My vote will go towards dice betting because I get instant results and I am not among the big winners so dice is best for me.

Yes anything can happen in sports but if you are carefully observing teams and players and are really interested in that game then you can predict the game. It's not 99% luck. Luck is only around 40% in this case.

although I can predict team and player that also does not guarantee a win, I would say that 99% depends on luck. I will take the example of Germany vs France, Germany now lost many important players and this is really hard to predict. although I try to choose France, but Germany will not be easy to beat.

Yes it is true gambling is only for lucky people. I don't think anybody can give us guarantee for sure profit. Recently I had lost my amount of very strong team.

You may argue that with 'betting' you can achieve certain amount of probability and control of your bets. After all  what could go wrong if you bet something and odds are @1.08 or something low?
But I lost couple 'sure bets' and lived though many upsets where underdogs won with much more renowned opponents. I can tell you this: Gambling is gambling no matter what.

Truly said, whatever you gamble does not matter because both gambling and betting needs enormous luck to win in the long run. Sports betting too is more dangerous though I think because it has no differences with respect to  addictive nature in long run.

how come that they're different? you cant gamble if you don't bet, that applies to everything in the world of gambling
those two are the same and there's no difference between the two. plus in what you said those two contradict each other,

You are right but I think betting is still not the same because of the fact that betting is less more depending on luck in my eyes
Matched can be predicted and I think because of that its not the same like real gambling games.
