Betting is also a part of gambling, so there is not a big difference between both of them but in sports betting one need some skills to guess the results but at the end luck also need to win the bet. Other casino games mostly depend on only luck so there making money is very challenging. So both should be same not much difference.

for me theres no difference in this to because betting is also a gambling where you place your bet for your favorite team where you don't need to play with your money and in gambling you are the one who gonna play with it with you luck beside you and ofcourse you need to undestand things so that you can easily win or win more

Uh as far as I know betting and gambling are the same thing. Betting is placing a wager on something which pretty much is also the definition of gambling. I don't think one is better than the other because there is no difference between the two

I don't see much of a difference.   Gamblers tend to think they have way more control over outcomes than they actually do.  You might have a poorer chance of winning placing bets.

they are the same thing, and saying they differ is only word play.
and also it doesn't matter what you call it, as long as it has some attributes it can fall under the category of gambling and being risky and should be avoided kind of thing. these attributes are like the risk, the unpredictability and money being involved.

To me I see betting as more of an investment then gambling so long as you do your research and takenyourntime there is money to be made for those willing to learn. Nothing is easy just remember that. Gambling is just random events and is nothing like an investment. An investment is swayed towards profit instead of pure luck. Although I certain degree of luck goes a long way.

Its very confusing regarding  to OP's question , and you are right  betting is  part of gambling because that is the  thing you usually do when you are playing. If you said whats the difference maybe the answer would be  they differ in letters. Haha. Theres no difference at all between the two.

Yup, this question is quite confusing and exciting, And also we are getting different answers. Yes for me also both are same if we spend money in gambling it is nothing but betting. So what is the difference in this? I think OP is expecting something else, but the question is not proper.

Lol. Gambling and betting are just the same. The OP just confusing me. Gambling involves risking something of value on an uncertain event in hopes of winning something of greater value. Betting is the the act of gambling money on the outcome of a race, game, or other unpredictable event. This two are not different.

Yeah but the topic is really not quite clear here. I think we just stop discussing this kind of topic because it is really not the topic that is direct to the point or something. Betting is really far different in gambling when you really understand each word "gambling" and "betting" it is really different at all. I think we don't need to compare that two (gambling and betting).

I know that we can bet in gambling right? there are not really the same but they can use in one activity. Can't you understand that gambling is a game and betting a way of playing in gambling that you can use so that you can win in gambling or either lose. Betting is what we will do when we play gambling, And gambling is a game and that's it!
