Gambling vs Betting

We all know betting is better then gambling because you have a certain degree of control. I wonder who of you have gone from gambling to only betting now much did your profits increase and what difference does it make ?

I did not understand about this question because I think  gambling and betting the same thing equally in gambling
betting one type of gambling, gambling consists of several types of games one is betting commonly used in sports gambling

If you ask me about betting and some types of gambling I'm more profit from betting but not from winning  bet only profit from the various promotions and contests

I say gambling because with getting you can learn about teams. Think about it this way. If betting was just luck then why do managers pay millions to buy and sell players ? People would not invest in a team they thought was going to lose. So there are way to increase winning. You cannot win all the time though so expect loses but its entirely possible to make money betting. Though those who do won't daily share their knowledge.

I would go for betting than gambling, why? Because you have a decent chance of winning betting if you know what you are doing and with right time searching the game you'll ending up winning easy but on the other hand gambling just suck all your money away

No matter what angle you will see it or define it, still a nonsense thing to ask because gambling and betting are just the same because how would you do gambling if you dont bet? Therefore, betting is definitely a part of gambling and theres no point on comparing them.

yeah that's right. i actually had to reread the first comment saying that we all know betting is better than gambling lol. whichever way you put it there's really nothing to compare. it would just confuse you thinking about it if there is a difference between the two.

There is no way to gamble without placing a bet in fact that is the very definition of gambling you put money behind a certain outcome and then wait for the results if its favorable you win a certain amount of money, if its unfavorable you lose your bet.

I confuse because I think Gambling and Betting are just a same things.
Gambling is a game which need a money on it, and Betting is when you place your money in Gambling.

I too think both are same thing, to me the whole process from start to end is being called gambling while betting is the amount you risk/put in one time, for example some time we say that while playing gambling I play some big bets more that 1 bitcoin each.
In other simple words : betting is sub set of gambling.

You can make sure to only place or accept a bet when you are almost absolutely sure you are going to win. This way, your bets should be +EV. Gambling is -EV in almost all cases.

But all things that are definitely in the gambling is the way we play, if we make the game the best way then I'm sure it will all be replaced by either way, so did the opposite. That is right betting is better than gambling as it is easily controlled by some knowledge but not everyone can participate in betting in real as we can see that people are betting very high so these people go for gambling especially to online gambling where they can gamble with minute amount.

Still the same results, we could either win or lose and it belongs to gambling. Regardless of the method,  still we are rooting for the money and the fun as well. What I know base on experience, games can be played but it's more exciting when there's betting involved that's why we adopted that and it has become a big business for the operators.
