2D RPG MMO that uses dogecoin as its in game currency


My team and I currently building a 3D Dark Fantasy MMORPG that is going to use dogecoin as its in game currency. We’re seeking 10,000,000 dogecoin to use on building our economy, art, game development, and for advertisement purposes. We plan to monetizes the game with a small “tax” for each transaction that takes place in the game world, along with a few in game purchases for non-stat altering items such as, skins, mounts, ect, along with a few non-video ads.

Game Summary: The game is a 2D Dark Fantasy MMORPG taking place in the modern day, gothic city of New Sheperd. You play as either a vampire or werewolf race character, and will take part in a power struggle between two opposing factions for control of the city. There are a lot of PVE elements and a lot of rewarding reasons for PvP. The in game economy will use credits that are purchased with doge (Currently the only cryptocurrency we are able to support) or earned from PVE, or picked up from killed enemies in PvP. You will have the ability to convert your game credits back to doge and withdraw them to the wallet associated with your account.


What is in it for investors?

Investors will get several special in game skins, items, titles, and a bonus to experience earned. We also expect our investors to receive 10% ROI over the course of the next year.

MMORPGs are more popular now than ever before, and more and more players are looking for games that use real currency systems. We have a very strong, and very smart consumer as our target audience, and we think that they will be very excited about being a part of a community that you can help build.

Additional information on the game can be made available via PM upon request. This information includes basic info on our PVE, PvP, and Character Creation systems at the moment.  

Public information on our economy, world/level design, server hosting and several other important details are not available at this time.

We currently have no Launch Date in mind.

If you have any questions I’d be happy to answer them to the best of my ability. Questions about art, and the economy itself may be slightly difficult for me to answer at the current time, however I'll do my best.

We have a full game plan. I'm not sure where you got the idea that we didn't have a game plan. We just don't have a website for the game yet. We don't have a prototype because we are still in the early stages of development.

We are a small indie group as I said in my original post. Getting the funding to help move our project along is important.

I've sent you the additional info, that I can release at the time in a PM. As I said above, currently the only crypto we can support is dogecoin, switching to btc isn't an option at the moment. In the future we hope that we can support other cryptos. I'm not sure what you mean by credentials, could you elaborate on that?

We do have plans to eventually accept other cryptos, and for us dogecoin seems like a decent place for us to start. Our game may even give a little more life to the dogecoin community!

Ideally you would give us some artwork and a greater piece of information about the game and how it can be profitable. Otherwise don't expect to get 10,000,000 Doge. I'm not saying it's not a good idea, but I think you should focus on the game first to make sure it's actually fun to play. There are many developers who will be willing to help you create some demos, even if they're short. It makes a big difference.

I'm not saying it's not a good idea, but I think you should focus on the game first to make sure it's actually fun to play. There are many developers who will be willing to help you create some demos, even if they're short. It makes a big difference.

Thanks but if you read the thread you would see we are offering our Game Design Document to certain potential investors.

We are focusing on our game first, I would like to point that out because there has been a bit of confusion about that. The game is something that we are building already, it's not just a concept.

We are in the early stages of development as I said but we are already planning on an "offline demo" to showcase a bit of the basic PvE, and some of the art.

I'll keep everyone updated on that.

Also it'd be a better idea to try making a 3D game. 2D games sell for very cheap, and it's difficult to create a market within a 2D game. The most successful 2D game I've ever known was 'Terraria' and I'm sure they'd never be able to build a market in their game either.

The most successful 2D game I've ever known was 'Terraria' and I'm sure they'd never be able to build a market in their game either.

We've worked on games before, none of which were sold commercially. We aren't going to switch to a 3D game. We had originally tossed around the idea of a 3D open world game but decided that we wanted to make 2D games more.

The price that we sell the game at is still under debate and I'm not at liberty to say what that price will be.
