It is rarely thought and people tend not to believe it per se:

has a woman created Bitcoin? Why is this possibility always ruled out?

I believe a group of women has created Bitcoin.

Why not?

Gender is really not important when it comes to bitcoin, who ever would have created we should be thankful for creating such an innovative and creative currency which is helping us in best way.

Why do u feel that way? I think women are excluded from Bitcoin way too much. Most women think Bitcoin is bad.

Why is that?  Maybe it was even a woman who created Bitcoin indeed.

Did you even do some research before posting your opinion or before creating this thread in the first place?

Read these articles:

Do most women think bitcoin is bad?  Whats the source for that?  I coud imagine most people,  regardless of gender have not such a strong opinion of btc. Most simply just dont 'get' it,  and the media doesn't help people understand they only help people fear it.

You are right. Gender is not important when it come to creation or discoveries but i think that bitcoin creator was a male. Women are not so interested in such activities and cant create such great inventions.

Well it's simple,. if you look around you'll see how the majority of people inside all those difficult careers are men. In the engineering field most of the % of people that join are men, it's a fact just look up the statistics. So it's safe to say chances are SN was indeed a man.

All is possible, a woman, a man, a group of mans, a group of women, a mixed group. I don't see any problem witch who created bitcoin. I think it was a group of people that created bitcoin, not an individual.

We do not know who the creator of bitcoin is. It will most probable be a men, but there is a 50-50 chance that it is a girl. Who knows if Craig Wright is a men or girl, mayby a transgender.... Roll Eyes

Both men and woman are equal, so let's not judge based on that and just forget about the gender of the creator, since it doesn't matter at all.

Because of this quoted post alone.

You won't even make such statement if you have done some research.

Has to agree it doesn't matter at all.

But equality has nothing to do with the question, only underlining probability does.

1) Firstly, since, most of milestone IT achievements made by men. Satoshi most likely to be a man.
2) Secondly, Satoshi is the pseudonym  and "generally a masculine Japanese given name" (wiki). And I think most likely person who choose male pseudonym would be male (Samuel-Mark as example).

Of course, there are probably some exceptions.  But, in my opinion he is a man with 99.999% probability.

Women are not very much into programming and cryptocurrencies. This is the sad truth.

I wish there were more female geeks  Smiley

I don`t believe that Satoshi is a woman.

Gender really don't matters however i can't believe that the actual satoshi is or was a woman. Usually woman are not tech freak back to 2009 so that is a strong reason why i think satoshi is a old man or a young genius boy.

Totally wrong. Nobody excludes women from Bitcoin. Most of them are simply not yet as interested in Bitcoin like males due to gender-specific preferences. But that will change over time, when Bitcoins usability and utility increases.

Personally I think it is unlikely that a group of women created Bitcoin. Firstly there is no indication that a group was working on Bitcoin - at least not from the communication from Satoshi. Secondly, math and IT-related professions are almost exclusively populated by men. So while it is not unthinkable that a few brilliant women created Bitcoin, the probability is very low.

No is was not a women who has created the Bitcoin if I am correct, to me it does not even matter who created it. We have had many people who claimed that they invented the Bitcoin.
So I do not pay any attention to this any more, who ever created it I am grateful to you.

Many members of this forum are females but they just don't keep specifying they are males or females. There are females who invest in stock market and forex as well but if we compare the number, it's more a male dominated market rather than a female oriented market. Even IT professionals have more females as it was in my college so it can't be determined.

I believe you are right about the group, and there was some woman's, why not? I think we can believe in what ever we wish, and I also believe it was a group and not just one man. I doubt there was all women's involved in creating of bitcoins, but I was wrong many times, so I give a little chance even for that to be possible.

We will need to wait many more years for reak truth, maybe we will never know. Time will tell who was creator of bitcon.

Lol theres so much speculation about the creator of the bitcoin and I know there would be a new speculation and guess about that because until now it is still the big issue on the world of cryptocurrency because the creator of bitcoin still remain unknown .
