Quit Gambling for Good, think for your loved ones

I think it's interesting, when we have a plan to stop gambling of course there will be the consideration that if still loss want to return our money and if we win would like to repeat it. I tried to stop gambling but it seems difficult as losing or winning still make me curious.

You need to have control to yourself, like if you are winning already get contented with it and stop. Save that winnings you got so that you are able to get another day to gamble. But if that is at worst, you should really consider to quit gambling for real because that can ruin and harm your life if you are not going to stop with that addiction.

You can't easily stop when you do not have a specific target amount to achieve, that will only make you gambling without a goal and eventually would result to greediness which would make you lose in the end. It's true that there are another day to gamble and as a gambler, we also have to take a break and stop with a profit to enjoy it.

Would be much better if we didn't gambled for profiting at all. no matter what goal you set eventually you'll lose your cool someday and will end up losing a lot of money. better gamble for fun, i've been gambling for fun and it feels good! 

Depends on our capacity, if we have no capacity to gamble for profit then we have to shift our interest on gambling for fun. It is advisable for us not to lose a big amount of money while we can still enjoy gambling even for a longer period of time. Quitting should not be an option and we should avoid to reach on that situation.

If someone is already very addicted in gambling I think it would remain difficult to stop though for a loved one, it can even be harmful and difficult to control. It is very difficult for a person who is already addicted to gambling to get out and not easy to fight against these habit, should be from within yourself to be able to stop gambling.

No need to waste too long to gamble, do not need to waste too much money to gamble. Spend more time for your family every day, give your child a lot of money and your wife. Whatever you do, make the family as a priority, including within gamble. And yes, just control yourself, so you will never get addicted.

Nice words the OP says but gambling is an addiction, so I guess many of us just can't quit for good, they keep playing, keep hoping and keep losing. So maybe you should've wrote more about the way out, not the reasons. And some wrote here gambling is not surely ruining life. I agree with that. Some people just aren't getting addicted and they don't play with big sums ever. Not to forget there are worse things to be addicted to like heroin or killing people, you know. So gambling is actually not that bad.

The gambling addiction is like a drug addiction, how we can not come out from drug addiction like that gambling addiction it is not easy to come out from gambling addiction. Gambling addiction and drug addiction would really be different at all even if they are both addiction since drug would be more really worse than gambling because drug addiction does really affect too bad in both physical and mental unlike on gambling you might be affected on financial and social.

Some of what you say here is true but that doesnt mean gambling will ruin your life. If you have an addictive personality and cannot control when to stop gambling, then yes you prob shouldnt gamble. If you have self control and just wanna toss a few dollars around here n there then youll be fine.

Indeed right, the only problem is those people who are highly addictive on gambling and not just gambling itself. Because if you do have self-discipline about this thing, then you shouldn't worry about being broke or something that may cause harm on your family, but, if you are a gambling addict, then, it is better if you will quit gambling before it is too late.

Quiting gambling is really difficult we know that into our self and after quiting we can just easily back after quiting that hard people don't know how to value their money they can't even give some money to their loveones they don't think the effect of playing gambling all they want is to enjoy. Some gamble to have fun while others to have money, between the two the last one I mentioned is at risk of losing more money and could lose his family if he will not be careful with gambling. The risk is too big and it could ruined our life, that is why when we are in the situation that we are starting to destroy our life, we must sacrifice gambling and choose our family as they can give more happiness than being selfish in gambling.

To be honest, I don't think this is applicable to everyone. There are families that you would rather just ditch than to live with. You would might as well just burn your money than give it to them. Yes, you might love them but that doesn't mean that they love you back. There are also gamblers that don't have any responsibility at all. Hi everyone, want to share my story here, I was once a gambler that I can gamble big amount of money in one day, I have this thinking that maybe I can make a living off gambling and get rich. I won big before but I lost back on the other day too.

And once you lost, you will try to recover back your lost amount and from there, the snowball just keep rolling, and you find yourself in bad mood everyday as you will keep on depositing all your savings and always hoping to recover back your loss. I have seen too many people losing big amount of money in Bitcoin Gambling.

Think for your family, your parents, your loved ones, your wife or kids, they love you, do not let gambling ruin your life, many people are always thinking they will win big from gambling and get rich in one night.

It happens, but out of 10000 people, maybe just 1 person are that lucky to really win a huge amount of money for him to retire.

Human concept always look at the lucky guy and envy him and thinking they will be the next him, but out of 10000 people, 9999 people have lost big, so why do you want to hurt yourself and your loved ones.

I am not trying to change people mind here, I just hope I can help some people that are addicted to gambling.

Life is good and wonderful, do not get yourself stuck in front of the pc everyday rolling dice and even you win big today, you will still lose back in other day, money that come fast go away fast too.

I think this could be an article, it could practically save relationships. When people are addicted to something, they tend to get emotional on it and probably ruin your life with it. It's good to have people support you in things that you want, and you should be willing to listen when everything is at lost. Everyone experience that, every gambler should learn how to control. Absolutely, it is very dangerous gambling addiction. Addicted to just about anything is dangerous, if addicted to cigarettes we will be our own physical harm, endanger our respiratory system and people around us. And dangerous gambling addiction on the mental and thoughts, gambling give suggestions to us that earn money by gambling is a fast way. Though not at all.

Gambling addiction can cause you a health damage as well because it is very stressful when all in your mind is gambling, you cannot sleep and eat well, hence you will live a very miserable life.
