I think no one should rely on gambling to make a living, it is a risky thing and never heard anyone become rich with gambling, but I think using your loved as an inspiration to stop gambling is a good idea, but to really stop it need more than that

It's hard to do that but it's very easy to say that no one should make gambling as a source of income. Because most of the gamblers are used for making it as their way of living while having fun. But you need to think if your family is already affected with your addiction, you should stop that a little by little for your own good.

Actually, I realize every gambler know that gambling is not a source of income. But instead of it they are using gambling for earning wise. Whenever they need money than they try to play gambling, and try to earn from it. No doubt it is risky and in a second we waste our money. But i think if mostly gamblers play gambling for income wise, than may be gambling help them and also their family.

Religion fundamental also play important role for prevent addiction against gambling etc.
My neighbour still able to gamble everyday and their family doesn't against his action instead they always go into a church every Sunday.

Even when I can afford it, I wouldnt really use a huge amount to gamble. Therefore I dont really have to quit gambling because I only gamble for the sake of fun

Addicted gamblers mindset is different than normal gamblers. They won't think about anything means family, loved once and future plan nothing they only concentrate on money. But you and I are not like that we think about our family members and loved once, and we think about our future plan. After all, this if still we have money we will do gambling otherwise we will not play gambling.

If you gamble only when you got what you can afford, you're not addicted. People who are addicted will not be able to think clearly, they will only be minded to gamble and gamble. They will do anything to gamble. And when it was restrained, they will spend anything, even if it is not that they can afford.

And once you lost, you will try to recover back your lost amount and from there, the snowball just keep rolling, and you find yourself in bad mood everyday as you will keep on depositing all your savings and always hoping to recover back your loss. I have seen too many people losing big amount of money in Bitcoin Gambling.

Think for your family, your parents, your loved ones, your wife or kids, they love you, do not let gambling ruin your life, many people are always thinking they will win big from gambling and get rich in one night.

It happens, but out of 10000 people, maybe just 1 person are that lucky to really win a huge amount of money for him to retire.

For me, first off: I'm not a gambler and never will be because I'm too smart to be played by some jar-head moron!

Secondly, I know gambling is not going to be good for humans because it may affect human mind, mindset and psychology in-general!

Everything that might affect your mindset, daily activities and interacting with people, more especially your friends and family you have to avoid it!

One thing I learned from learned from gambling [The Gambler Movie] it tears people down all the time. there's an addiction to it which would never let you go.

And once you are addicted to it, all you'll ever need is to find money from anywhere and go gamble with it because you are always thinking you might win big and retire, which is a bad idea because it'll never happen. 

Once you found yourself in that circle, then you'll never be happy again!

A lot of people have been mentioning what if the person doesn't have a loved one. Picture this, what if the people around you, including your family, are the ones that owns a casino business. What if every single one of your family members has always been into gambling and they always play. Of course as a kid, you'll grow up doing gambling as well. Yeah i agree. It depends on how much you actually value your family and loved ones over the things that you really can live without. If you're a family person then there won't be any second thoughts if you're given a choice between your family and gambling. Different people have different outlooks toward gambling and family life

I salute what he did, although he lost money but he knows when to quit, your family is the most important and you cannot let them live in vain because of your wrong decision making. According to my assessment, some of your statement are correct but there's only one thing that I want to clarify which is Gambling ruin you life. I think it is just a tools to ruin life of each gambler or player in the gambling sites. If the individual player/gambler will not allow gambling to control what they are, maybe ruin life others will not going to be happen. BUt once we allow it and we become neglectful no doubt our lives will ruin by it.

Agree it shouldnt be generalize since gambling is just a game it depends really on a certain person on how he gonna handle himself in times when gambling addiction strikes him.Hes responsible through his actions thats why there are gamblers who got broke badly and there are some who can avoid such situation and some could able to recover after a huge lose money on his life.
