A new official LBRY ANN thread would definitely increase LBRY awareness in the cryptocurrencies community. As we can see, the unofficial LBRY discussion first page is lack of project information. And I believe creating the official thread is a leap forward for LBRY.

Looks like alpha testing for android is coming out, i will check it out soon.

After updating to v0.21.2 LBRY won't load. LBRY proccess seems to be running when started, but no window opens.

yep, logs would be the next best bet. If that doesn't work, reach out to me on https://chat.lbry.io and we can try to do a remote session. Haven't seen this issue yet - normally there would be at least some error message. This might mean something is blocking it from starting.

Hmm, that's strange. Can you uninstalling completely and then reinstalling the latest version again?

Do you have lbrynet-daemon.exe in C:\Program Files\LBRY\resources\static\daemon ? You can try running that first and then starting up the App. It may be a temp workaround until we can reproduce the problem. Can you share any event log errors, if they exist? Also, try adding that path to exceptions in your AV/Anti spyware/malware programs.

With the next protocol upgrade is that when people who have downloaded content on their computers get compensated small amounts of lbry for holding those files?

Feel like that will really spark the number of downloads to the app.

Data payments are probably a bit further off as it's not one of the high priorities right now. We also don't think it would lead to any higher app usage or stickiness, most end users or publishers won't care too much about that feature. As important as it is, there are other higher priorities like network availability and performance. Also both the wallet client and server is getting a big re-write so this could help make data payments possible down the road.

LBRY developer team always working hard toward the project, that the good things about LBRY project team. That is one of the essentials things that a successful project required.Only relying on a good news is unreliable, throughout time LBRY will be promising in the long term.
