I tell You what happened with me
The tests made R9 280x  -I 18 -W 64 without any -g parameter gave me 51 mH
then I add at the end -g 5 and have 70  - 71 mH  - then set -g 3 and had 72 - 72 mH
I tried other combination of the 2 values but  (-g 3 and -I 18) is the winner
You decide to try or not

for other cards - other values will possibly give better results

i will try, if the -g 3 give me a totall crash i wont listen to you anymore haha Cheesy, i go check it now to add -g 3 at the end of the .bat line

Edit: Tested:
with -g 3 at the end of the line i get now: ~85 Mh/s increase around 10Mh/s
with -g 5 at the end of the line i get now: ~80 Mh/s increase around 5Mh/s compared to without -g
with -g 2 at the end of the line i get now: ~87 Mh/s increase around 10Mh/s

Still not 100Mh/s but i dont know what other guys get with an R9 290 oc tri-x (with over/underclock)

My card runs with fan speed on 50% at 68celcius, so that's not bad, it can get hotter then this but this is fine. I try to get more speed without over/underclock

You see - that is the way
mine some time and calm yourself
then you can experiment other combinations of the 2 values and increase the MH
for more precise settings you can read
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ckolivas/cgminer/v3.7.2/SCRYPT-README

See You find your -g 3
may be other value of -I will give You increase
it must not obligatory to be higher than -I 18 - -I 17 may increase
experiments must be made

Have a good luck

Greetings from Bulgaria
And let's hope the prize will go up
The coin is good and now many people mine it in the three pools

Yeah i see the mining community on this coin is very active, around 1000 miners only at suprnova is not bad.

suprnova at this moment:
    Pool Hash: 204,097.62 MH/s
    Pool Workers: 837
    Net Hash: 875,383.67 MH/s
This is really good, remember enough miners close there computer at night, in a few hours its 1/4 more.

This algo is a mix of SHA-256, SHA-512 and RIPEMD-160. Very ASIC friendly provided anyone ever cares to make one for it.

None of this will matter in a few days if DEV doesn't do the right thing and publicly burn most of that ridiculous Premine/Instamine. If not price can only go way down, and no one is going to mine or invest in it with that bag over their heads.

Is it just me or are my eyes deceiving me?
Or do i really see many people mining 1000's of these coins per day at pools and they can be sold for 80 cents on bitrex and poliniex.
How can this be? Or are the pools giving me the wrong numbers. This means 800 dollar per day and thus they end of crypto?
No cant be!!!

Tell me who is mining 1000's of these coin in 1 day?Tongue

i know wolf got his miner verry well optimized he goes almost 2x faster then me, with a R9 290x, i use the R9 290 OC..

But 1000's of this coin by 1 miner? That's hard Tongue

With 80-90Mh/s u get a few in 1 day, like 2-3 i think at this moment.. So i think u mean the whole pool generate 1000's of those coins, possible, but then the shares goes to all the miners from that pool.
