I think age isn't a problem in this case while you were able to earn bitcoin though you've been unable to walk and I'm sure there are 60-year old is still trading and mining because to earn bitcoin you don't need spend many energy.

Well, I have a grandmother here, but I think very difficult to teach them How can I use bitcoin. I guess they do not care anymore about it. Most parents who are here are very difficult to understand the performance of the computer, so it is very difficult to teach them how to generate bitcoin.

I think older people that are 45+ would see bitcoin as a fad for the younger generation to mess with.
They might not see it worth their time as they don't have as much as it too waste on things that they have to learn about. 

Haha. yes you are so right. They think that it is only for younger generation that is why they decided not to give care about it not knowing they are losing a lot even though they are investing. They are losing a lot in a way that they are missing the opportunities that is given by bitcoins to the users of it. They don't know because they don't want to know. older people are mostly more experiences so they are less enthusiastic to do meaningless jobs with small payment so i doubt if many are doing signature campaigns. but instead they do freelance jobs based on skills and many are trading bitcoin.

I'm 48. The only reason that I am participating in a signature campaign is because I might as well get a few cents here and there, for doing something that I am going to do anyway. I only own about 2 bitcoins, so this can hardly be considered an investment. It is more of a hobby for me. Once a nerd, always a nerd.

I really found it amusing how these Millennials think people older than 45 are intimidated by new technology. Lolz. This stuff they have now is way easier to use than when I started in the 80's. I think they must have the baby boom generation in mind. Us gen xers grew up on this stuff.

You are wrong. My father is 45+ and I live in the country of the 3rd world and he earns btc working for a signature campaign and has some friends of his planning to do some business using btc

where the heck do you live,so many youngster now having much disease due to unhealthy life cycle and 48 could be considered as old because they can survive 48 years better than the youngster themselves

I don't think any old person would do sig campaign, but few rich retired people surely find different ways to earn money they probably do bitcoin trading. But I don't think they use this forum or any other forum that's why you don't see any old people around the forum.

no i think there must be so many old people from middle class who will be retired from their job. or may not be in position to do word on daily wages. so it is a good opportunity for them and they must be there in signature campaign.

also i think old people earning with bitcoin they are many when they are starting earning with bitcoin from 2010 until now they are not so active in this forum but they are very active right now in their own business or they are still holding there bitcoin to make a profit .. just to hold it and sell when the price of bitcoin is getting high.

Actually we need a lot of old people along with young people in this community, young to start and old to complement (but complementing each other would be more good). Anyways I think there are many people are who earn bitcoins and many ( not just 10-20 ) are aged over 45-50 yrs.

LOL funny how middle aged man react when they are considered old   .  For a 16 years old person above 20 is middle aged and above 30 is old hahah.  for 20's 30 is middle aged and 55 is old and in our bracket we know enough  30 to 50 is still young hehehe. and at 40 and above they said life is just beginning so yes you are still young!  Anyway back to the topic, I pretty much agree this industry needs alot more mature people to run and participate in the economy.

Cool Question, but in this kind of generation where gadgets just got exposed to people just few years back, I think there's no old people that is doing bitcoins. First of all, most old people are not using gadgets and stuffs and bitcoin is not that famous so there's no way old people are doing bitcoin.

Agreed, i also think that most of old people are not focusing in earning instead they are focusing in their entertainment because they already retired of being workers or being hard working in their past life.

This makes me smile, but you are correct ... Young at heart  I cant argue with you,we need more stable mature person in bitcoin. They  have the cash to spend,to enjoy and most maybe financially stable.
