I have a 4 card rig and the 2nd and 3rd card are running at 90c+. I'm stopping them now until I can get my hands on these extenders. I saw some for 15 bucks, is that the cheapest you can get them for?

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Yeah, they can be had for cheaper than cablesaurus.com (who also has an eBay store), but most (all) of those $4 cables come from China (which in itself isn't bad)... but the problem is the shipping. Most of them say they take 4+ weeks to arrive in the States.

Cablesaurus had me my cables in 3 business days.

You can pick up the really cheap ones on eBay for under $4 with two caveats.

1) You need to wait for them to ship from China.  I got my first batch in under a week, but it could take longer.
2) You have cut the end off yourself.  Honestly, if you're careful with a small knife or pliers or something you can easily cut off the end in about 5 minutes, just gotta watch the pins.

If you can't wait or are afraid of breaking them if you try cutting yourself, just pay the extra and go with cablesaurus.

LOL, I set my fan speeds to 100% and it lowered by 20C to ~74C! Guess I don't need these anymore.

100% is not always good my friend. The fan only has so many cycles to go through before it dies out.

I recommend cablesaurus.com for extenders.  he is part of our community, he is reasonably priced, ships fast and i have been happy with my cables.
