Possibly, but in my opinion, I wouldn't bet on the semi-finals, as they might not try as hard to get first, and get just enough to qualify so that they don't overexhert themselves.

However, I do believe that you have reason to bet on Bolt in the finals, he will probably win it for sure.

when it comes to Usain Bolt you can bet on him no matter what.he wont let his dominant performance down in the big stages,even during this semi final Andre De Grasse was sprinting hard when bolt shut him down and bolt saw him sprinting through the finish line and laughed and finished with ease.he is one in a life time generation athlete,with his 100 m semi and final and during his 200 semi's he made me 1k 

I agree and I put Bolt on to win the final @ 1.30 before the semi final and lucky I did because now he is only paying 1.03 to win lol Bolt will win for sure unless something drastic happens like an injury.

the only thing to worry at this moment is a fault start from Bolt if he plan to break the 19 second barrier in 200 M. I have a gut feeling that he might try to finish his athletic career in olympics with a world record.

The odds went down once the 100 meter heats started,remember the odds were pretty high at the start of the olympics.why was the odds so high during those time,because Bolt was having an injury during the Jamaican Olympic trials and justin Gatlin was in good form and shape coming into the olympics, but Bolt is a legend of the sport,you cant see a person of that caliber again in athletic history, so i knew no matter what he would win the triple triple .if you need a break down of my wins,i will break it down

Yes, you were correct, Jamaica won easily! However, the USA didn't even get on the podium; I'm impressed with Canada's performance lately in track and field.

really disappointing day for me in track and field..stupid enough to wager on a small margin for women's 5000m for Almaz Ayana and in 4 X 100 M womens relay, jamaica had the best team and two 100 m medalist and a former olympian and medalist and still they cant win the gold with all those fast legs

He sure is and to be honest I don't believe we will see anyone like him again for 50+ years or maybe never again. Maybe he is thinking that but he easily beat the young ones coming up now but I think it's better he goes out on a high. I really hope he does go on for the Commonwealth Games in 2018 because I would like to see him live in person as the games are in my country Gold Coast Australia. He said next year will be his last but hopefully he goes on for one more year after that and to be honest he would have much competition maybe only the Canadian kid Andre De Grasse and no USA. So he could maybe decide to go on, we shall see.
