Sometimes I stop gambling for the same reason I stop other recreational activities, because I have funnier things to do or because I have more important things to do(of could lose much money gambling is not really fun).

I only stop if ever i had lost my balance and keep coming back after a week. Im still trying and hoping that one day ill win big thats what keep me from coming back.

Why do I come back? Cause it's fun! But I also know if I win, I'll play again, and lose. It's all strictly for entertainment for me. Just... one I can't do very often (unless it's online currency that I get for free, lol).

Yap I did, I was an active fiat poker player when I was on collegue but stopped after I started to work on regular job. I started gambling again after I knew bitcoin but not as active as when I was on collegue. Now I gamble just for fun, while in the past I gamble for profit.

i did it too, sometime my hand can not to stop to play gamble, especially wheel of fortune lol. for me, i don't need the reasons to come back to gamble, i just playing for sometime. for the other games, i don't have a luck to win the games.

Yea, i did it too. I was stopped gambling because i have to do something in real world, then i realized if just gamble when you bored (playing for fun).

I think definitely you because gambling is extremely dangerous when already experiencing high addiction. Most of them are coming back in gambling are those who can't control themselves and control the themselves.

There are many reasons to stop gambling,and the same with getting back to gambling,there are many reasons too.
Main I would say are one of those: You have lost already a lot of money,so you dont want to put yourself to risk more.
You want to recover the money you have lost at previous time gambling,so you thinking about getting back to recover.
at least these are the reasons i got back to it,like an addict :/

Yes I stop gambling when the faucet of the gambling site I gamble reaches its max claim. SO I need to wait another day to claim again in order to gamble. Hahaha It's my way of gambling

I used to gamble "casually"... maybe once a month I'd head to the casino for friends and we'd pretend to be pro gamblers while losing money at craps and $5 Blackjack . Was never really serious and was generally just a fun night out with friends where we would just give each other stick for losing on stupid bets (doubling down on 12 that sort of thing)...

Then I started working at the casino and had to stop, because it is against the law to work there and play there

I still played the odd cash game of poker with friends, and the lottery when they'd have the big "$40million must be won this week"-type draw...

Since I stopped at the casino I've been a bit more of a gambler again... mostly poker with the odd night at the casino here and there... nothing massive, but I've never been heavily into gambling. I just treat it like most other "disposable income" activities... I do it for fun and enjoyment and not for making big profit

It's me, i ever try to stop gambling and it's success but 3 days ago i go gambling again because i have a confident bet and yes i win. But it's the problem, i become greedy again and i lose all my money.

I did this for more than 3 times, once I took decision to give up but while watching some sports matches they inspire to place bet again, that is the reason I am not consistent with this, let it and than get started again just to make some fun.

It's me, i ever try to stop gambling and it's success but 3 days ago i go gambling again because i have a confident bet and yes i win. But it's the problem, i become greedy again and i lose all my money.

If you want to stop gambling forever then better don't visit to any sites which discuss about gambling until you can control completely yourself otherwise you may start again and again after reading or writing some comments on gambling. Yes, this gambling will eat up all gamblers money so gamble very carefully.

I have tried to quit many times but then sports book is very much appealing and I know in the long run I can be in profit with them. Maybe I quit for sometime when there are not any good games to play but I read daily the news and all the betting tips regarding an event I want to place a bet and after reviewing them all I decide to bet on the most talked and predicted outcome of the game. It makes me feel overconfident and it seems I can't stop playing sports book at all, thats why I never quit for real, only temporarily.

My answer is boredom, because I gambled for the fun and to pass time while I sat in air ports and sleepless nights in hotels. You work in a hostile area and spend most of your time in hotel rooms at night. I do not gamble when I am back home, so it's a time burner.

I am one of the lucky people who can step away, but others just gamble everything away and then end up flat broke.

This is common thing happening to many gamblers they make some profit at start and then stop by happy with that but in very short time or in few minutes again starts gamble. I like many people started gamble in hope of making more by thinking if good time. This most of the time derived me to see change in statistics and wallet balance.
