Well I have. The feeling you get after losing a big bet definitely would make you consider refraining from gambling. But then, when you think about it, the excitement of having a chance to get back what you lost and getting back even more than what you lost, that makes gambling even more fun and exciting

That is a good decision from you because you are not really a gambler, do not let gambling destroy your focus in life as we cannot do multi tasking on our goal as we become less effective, one step at a time, by the moment you succeed on your first goal and become rich maybe that would be the time to relax a big and gamble sometimes.

You don't know how much attraction gambling have and where money involve there is chance of its addiction, I don't think playing for fun is a nice decision when you successfully gave up, I don't think its easy for all people to get rid of this evil easily.

Very precisely, each of us get the defeat certainly disillusioned always comes to our approach, yet strangely we still want to do gambling and ignore the consequences that will probably end up together on the first game. I mainly stop after I lose a large amount of money, that's usually when I reach the limit of what I am prepared to lose, I then wait until I have spare bitcoins to gamble again. I don't expect to make any profit and only gamble for fun, by setting limits it makes sure I don't get addicted and only lose what I am prepared to lose.

I think whoever is used to gamble does this thing over and over again. I personally have went through similar situation many times. I stopped playing after making some money but thinking to make more came back. Every time I came back brought me unpleasant experience as was just losses instead of making more. This is obvious and most common thing which we can seen among gamblers to start again.

Yeah, I have promised my self I wouldn't gamble anymore but still I lost 40$ with gambling just few days ago.
Overall I am still on profit so I don't think it is so bad but hopefully I can keep it that way too.

   I have breaks in gambling all the time. I like to bet on sports mostly, and when there is interesting games I bet when there is boring period I don't bet. I stop and start again very often, I don't wish to force myself with gambling. Its not a good thing to do. Except probability that I can lose a lot of money, I don`t wish to get addicted like some people I know, and spent all my free time in in some gambling house.
   I love sport, and I bet on sports more then 15 years. I don't risk too much, and I don't think I will stop betting ever, maybe breaks sometimes, but that is all.

That happened a lot with me , I left gambling and returned again many times , the reason in my opinion is the human nature , because no one like to lose , the human likes to win always , and as long you win , sure you won't leave gambling , but when you lose you will left it , so if you left as loser , you won't be satisfied , that will encourage you on returning to compensate your loses .

But for me, I can't tell because I did not yet quit on gambling,

There was a time when, I'd go out everyday to gamble. I couldn't stop, would only stop when left with no choice.(BIG loss) That's usually the only reason you'd quit when you're already addicted. The regret of not being able to control yourself, and then promising yourself you won't play anymore. Then trying to stay away. And then, being unable to resist the temptation. Lol.
Reason I came back to gamble? Couldn't resist. You'd get an itch, especially remembering when you won big, basically forgetting or ignoring the times you'd lost. It's like a cycle. BUT, you do get better with controlling yourself, until either you break again or become immune. Wew.

You are right. The main reason for most of the gambler for coming back, they do not have any other equalvalent entertainment to get themselves engaged. Moreover their gambling addiction will not let them to stay away from gambling.

That is the reason most commonly we are seeing gamblers are quitting gambling and coming back after that. Only the proper decisions and guidelines can treat this gambling addiction. A strong self control could be an additional push here.

The thrillin feeling is usually when you win money. When you lose money its usually a bad feeling and many go on "revenge" gambling and lose everything.

That's true when you are in gambling and you have no ability to control yourself, you will be having a hard time to think wisely. Sometimes, you are letting your emotions control you and you will resort to chasing your bets which is the key to your disaster.
