Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again?

yes i did, it was sick when i can stay away from gambling for 1 weeks than in the 8 days i try gamble again due i feel like something has lose in my life.

How do you gamble by the way, maybe you do not sleep and all your time is focus in gambling. That is not good if you are doing that as time will kill you and you will not protect your help, that usually happens if we keep on finding ways to earn but we didn't realize our record already speaks that we can't.

Well when you're that addicted to gambling, it would definitely take a huge amount of your time that you'd be better off spending a lot more important things like your family. I don't think it's that simple that because it's your passion, you'd consider it as a necessity. A lot more can get affected when you come to that point not just time and money

If you are gambling in limits then its well and good but if its an addiction for you and you are depending only on it for living then you are definitely putting your and your family's life at risk.

Bro, telling you from my experience that once addicted you will find it impossible to forget about that, I have friends who hardly sleeps anytime because they are terribly addicted and the biggest worst fact is they know themselves addicted to gambling yet they can not detach themselves form gambling at all.

I stopped for a part and after a while did it again but I never was addicted to gambling and I always do it for the fun and enjoyment and not for the profit like other people are doing this.
I think doing it for the profit makes you addicted and that is just bad.

I wish I will not reach unto the level, my addiction was only a years back but not that serious, or maybe I would say that I am just good enough on learning my mistakes and some people are dumb enough to always fight even they are in the losing battle.. Sad but that is the reality..

Yes I tried to gamble then gamble even I lose a huge amount of money. I know a certain friend who did stop playing gambling when she able to save money in the bank. She able to target her goal so she stops. Now that she needed to make another goal to happen, she came back in gambling and doing it over again. That's the problem ! They are themselves saying that they are quitting gambling for good and then they the ones who are visiting casino because they think that they can make money by gambling. Unless that particular thought goes away from their mind, they cant really leave gambling.

That feeling of something lost in the life actually just remains there for one week or two.
I used to gamble a lot then left it for a week since I felt I am loosing a bit too much. I started again and well, that helped me since now I do controlled gambling.

This a good start again for you because I tried to stop gambling too but what happened is that I am able to quit gambling for real but when my friend tells me that he is able to win great amount and encourages me to gamble again, it made me encouraged again. that's right , you need to make a right decision since first time you give a shot in gambling. you wan't really to gamble and stake everything for the sake of making money? or to gamble for the sake of fill in your spare time and get entertained? but actually no matter to get entertained or to make money , you would keep coming back to gamble. things make different are on how you gambling responsibly.

I think you really miss something that you always do especially when you are having fun with it.  I understand gambling will give us some entertainment and give us happiness when we are winning.  Being used to this kind of feelings will only mean we will miss it once instantly stop it.  The result, we feel that  something is missing in our life.  then just a glimpse of a chance to gamble will get us back to gambling again.
