yes the starting will be zero, but in gambling, we don't need much time to addict to gambling. within few days people will get addict. some people will addict in one day. and the beginning loss will make some people stop gambling immediately and some people will addict gambling because of loss. Once anyone stopped gambling, and again they come back, i am sure 90% of people will control their emotions. because they are experienced the bad thing of gambling, so they will make only safe bets.

Then they will makes "greedy bets" which in the end lose all they money. The addiction is near to a greedy, why people got addicted because they too greedy, too take much just thinking what they can expecting not considering the risk or the reverse they expect things.

but i think it is a psychological problem. because the addicted people already know that the way  they are playing gambling is not in their favour but still they cannot stop plying gambling and same is the case for drugs addicted people as they also know that the drugs that they are taking are badly effecting their health but still they want t continue, therefore i think they must hat some psychological problems.

They would probably need professional help if they are diagnosed with that. It's always a mental problem when a person already knows that what he/she is doing is not productive for him/her and still continues it. It's not how normal people should be, and even if you're not normal, you should still know what right or wrong is or if it's detrimental for you. Better seek professional help.

It's just like people who are addicted to drugs or some kind of thing that people are into and is getting negativity from it. When they go to rehab or groups or something, they learn how to stop, what it causes to people, but if they get a taste of it again, they will go back. It's same for gambling if people have already lost in gambling or what not, they would still come back in order to regain themselves from their losses, making them more prone to losses.

yeah that's always be a big challenge for anyone who want to quit from gambling just like when someone get addicted to drugs. the answer always on yourself, do you really want to leave gambling forever? then do whatever necessary, go to a professional gambling addiction therapist for example as i believe gambling addiction more to psychological problem.

if the problem is really serious the person really needed help coming from the therapist as they need to know how to overcome addiction, there's a lots of activity which is needed to process in order to help the person, diet and other things which can derive its mine to think about gambling and maybe some medication to just relax their minds.

i really confused with your statement lol . you say you can get addicted in gambling within even a day, but then you say that experienced people will have a control over themselves. so basically an addicted gambler = experienced gambler . then there is no way for you to completely stop from gambling?

I believe that this is a common thing in the gambler. I also had this experience. I had stopped in gambling, even I was determined not to touch her again. but, the longer, I am more interested to play again, because so many new things. so, I decided to try again. but, this time I have seldom to gambling such as dice, but I still like predictions in sport.

You are right, it is common and always happening in every gambler out there, it is also always happening to those who are really not addicted in gambling, because those who are already addicted doesn't stop until they lose all of what they have.

Well all people do really have different type of addiction status because there are mild,average,severe addictions and those are present most on gamblers.Some may can control it easily and some cant do it. Yeah, if one has lost money he/she will try to recover it. but if you keep on trying to recover you'll keep on gambling  and losing, the cycle will never end. the best thing is to stop chasing losses and forget about it to avoid future losses. i had lost big chunk of money and i don't try to recover it, because it's futile to recover losses.

yaa it's nice when you're a gambler but you can still stop gambling for a few weeks. A few weeks is quite a long time and it shows that you're not a gambling addict. Gambling is not a good thing to do every day, are at risk of losing money quickly. Although the purpose of gambling is to make money, but make money from gambling is not easy.

What are the reasons you come back to gamble?

I did that, not once but many times. Whenever i used to lose some money in gambling so i used to stop gambling for a few months, but after some time i used to go back on a gambling site for just having fun and when you go there you just think you should give it another try and you deposit some money, and again when you lose you regret your decision and stop gambling again, but you will surely come back again.

Well that's actually true I have been through that but luckily I didn't invest so much after losing so I didn't care much. I'm also happy that at the right time I realised that if I try to cover my loses I'll end up losing everything so I decided to stop gambling forever.
But of course I couldn't control myself so instead I tried sports betting which has less rewards but it also has less risk involved also and with sports betting I'm finally in profit.

That simply because in the mind of a gambler, if ever he will stop he could not recover our loses anymore. Fact would say that more gamblers who quit gambling due to substantial losses that they cannot afford to continue anymore. Not all the time we win but most of the time we lose, maybe we should think and evaluate the reality, let us forget the past and continue with the present, it's not good to chase loses, it will just harm us.

I only stop if ever i had lost my balance and keep coming back after a week. Im still trying and hoping that one day ill win big thats what keep me from coming back.

Of course if you don't have any balance in your bankroll, even if you like to stay you can't do it anyway. That's why they come back most of the time in the gambling site to play around again. Maybe it is their adrenaline for them to come back in the games.

Agreed this happens with several people who are serious gamblers. But that's a good decision to stop it when we don't have backup. There are users who borrow and gamble when they don't have balance to gamble. This affects much.
