I have 500 rounds of 7.62x39 (AK47) for sale for 5BTC (includes shipping in continental 48 states of US by UPS)
Golden Tiger FMJBT, 124 grain, lead core, steel case, non corrosive.

Couldn't resist the price and sold my AK47 so don't need the ammo.

you mind me asking why you would sell a personal defense rifle right now? Especially with pending gun control laws possibly making it impossible to buy another one.

Probably because that same pending legislation has driven up the price. If you have more than you need then why not share the love before it is too late?

Don't bother trying to sell that kind of stuff here. The folks on this forum don't want to spend their coins, or they want it cheaper than it was even before the demand spiked.

After a lot of thought and watching what's going on in Cyprus and by extension the rest of Europe I think I'm going to hold onto the ammo. Wondering how well the internet will hold up in massive debt contagion in Europe and then by extension how will the bitcoin universe holdup. I thank you all who pm'd me with offers.

A store near here had bags of 25x20 of it a couple of weeks ago for $225 or $8.99 a box. Academy has had it in for $5.99/20 but I'm holding enough right now and waiting to see it in Wally world for $3.99

I am thinking of selling some Winchester 555 22lr for a dollar. Of course, that would be Liberty or Morgan.

Good luck. Ammo is selling out at every Walmart near me. The US is currently maxed out in ammo production, and the price is going up.

Nah, I believe that it's just that the speculators are still stripping the shelves bare (and getting into the supply lines before the shelves too). The store that had the 7.62x39 had plenty of it and lots of other handgun ammo too. No 22 though. But the box I'm talking about I have in-hand. I was wandering around Walmart and there were three boxes on the shelf. I only took one so as not to be greedy (though I go back and forth on whether I should have grabbed the lot but I feel pretty reasonable about my decision). However, I already have some 22 and I want a silver dollar so I figure that might be a fair trade (and amusing to put up on armslist too).

I think homeland security bought it all. According to some of the congressmen's press releases, they bought enough for a 30 year war and nobody knows why. And then everybody decided they better get theirs, just in case.

The U.S. wouldn't care for this particular round because no department in our government are issued any rifles that use this cartridge. However, many citizens have AKs, SKSs, and the like. If anything, citizens are buying it out. Not the U.S. government. However, they may be enforcing some sort of importing law(s).

I think that Homeland security just just triggered a lot of fear in the general public and then you get the "I better get mine" mentality.

There's a lot of speculators getting into the supply lines at the moment. I'm seeing people asking $80 on armslist for what I paid 23 for a week ago. It's a bubble that's going to burst bad.

I think you are looking at the "wrong" bubble. I think it is the dollar bubble that will burst first. Just look at the price of bitcoins going up like a rocket.
