Vlad, i'd say this thread has the potential to rival your very first "Rally" thread from the old days.

This 'Parity Event' thing needs to be integrated with one of the BTC apps. Maybe the founder's new one...

Fiji! I actually researched Fiji when country shopping. Beautiful island, their Constitution has been rewritten a few times in the past decade due to revolutions. They have native tribes there that the early governments appeased by including provisions for them in the Constitution. Each new Constitution has moved further away from accomodating them. I believe the latest Constitution they were writing was a bit more "progressive". In the end, I decided against it because while fairly advanced, it is still fairly third world when it comes to law enforcement and protection of property rights. Like Costa Rica you would have to worry about locals robbing you all the time. Reminds me of scenes from Final Fantasy

I strongly suggest to make this thread the official world geography thread of the speculation subforum.

This will be a very useful thread, for those who will be trying to decide which country they want to buy.

Vlad, i'd say this thread has the potential to rival your very first "Rally" thread from the old days. I hope so, but I have not expected having to update it so often and skipping half a dozen of nations every day. skipping: country M1 Parity point
Rwanda $673,200,000.00 $61.65 Montenegro $749,000,000.00 $68.59 Fiji $794,600,000.00 $72.77 Djibouti $798,100,000.00 $73.09
On to Turkmenistan now at 75.90$. yes, your workload just went up.

ok the market cap part was just implemented.. but I need advice on the format on how you want it displayed.
RSS feeds and Android apps are all updated.
Man that app is looking good - great updates. Display of Parity Watch? Right under and with this - also not columnized. Centered. Maybe like this? ########### Bitcoin Market Cap = $783.004.758.24 ########## Turkmenistan = XXX M (World Cap #XXX) Can you do a touch-to-popup for more info? EDIT: I guess that should probably be: ########## Turkmenistan = XXX M (World M1 #XXX) ...or something.

directed towards the founder:
not sure if this could be incorporated into existing apps, but just as an idea:
I would love to have an app, that would show the list of countries, and then have the cap of bitcoin in bold colour listed just as if it were one of these countries, floating in real time up and down the list.
That would be awesome.

Remember this... I'm working with a 3 inch 4 inch type sized screen. You're talking at maximum 2-3 buttons or links. I need a design idea that would get the message across but doesn't take up the whole screen. Remember .. 99.99999% of the people that download Either the Ounce.Me Free or the Ounce.Me Paid are doing it solely for the spot price of Bitcoin (or Gold, Silver, etc). The more metrics I throw in it, the more it will get detracted from it's core business.. so I am 10000% open to adding it, I just need your help on how to add it without messing up the core design and purpose. You guys need to download this at least: Ounce.Me Free https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.btc.ounce.meOunce.Me Paid https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bitcoin.ounce.me.paidBoth are identical in terms of information, but since ounce.me paid has zero advertising, there is slightly more room.

What about a gradient representation? Have a horizontal gradient bar representing the spread of M1 for all countries, shaded from pale grey (some color) on the left - representing Djibouti - to red (some contrasting color) on the right - representing the US. Then put a movable, sliding black line representing bitcoin wherever it goes on that scaled horizontal bar, with a little pop-up balloon that compares the M1 of the countries immediately to the left and right, to the BTC market cap? Do it in Log Scale so bitcoin doesn't look too pathetic. Am I making sense? EDIT: Silly me. Not "...a movable, sliding black line representing bitcoin..." - but rather a little gold bitcoin coin logo... EDIT #2: Maybe a bitcoin coin logo with a pie slice facing to the right, like a PacMan guy?

Hmm, it would be interesting to see the parity between the highest amount of BTC in one address and wether or not they can yet buy a country. 111111 BTC * 75.6 = ~$8.4 million. Montserrat: $ 16,170,000 Edit: missed the 8
