If no one spends bitcoin what might happen?

What do yo mean by not spending it? Not using it for transaction? As long as trading is still running then it is a good thing

If everyone is not using it or in other words eberyone is holding, while mpre and more people wants to have of as more adoption is imminent. Then bitcoi  price will skyrocket for sure

I think its value will increase if no one spends it. If all the people will just invest in bitcoin many money will come to bitcoin and it will increase. Just simply as this, it is just like you are putting money in a piggy bank, what happens is the amount inside is stock getting huge as you put more money inside it. The worst case scenario is if no one will invest in bitcoin, just like in the previous example if all your money will be spent it will all get lose or throw away so the value of your money will lose because it all goes out.

yes and I think that there are very few people who will prefer to hold them for a long term without spending it, I guess already this kind of situation is only going on as we are spreading about bitcoins' future value which might have made more people to save their bitcoins.

For me I think it will make the bitcoins price much stable or its price will rise up. If we hold onto our bitcoins it will not move the price it will just stay because there is no transactions that can lower the price of a bitcoin.
If we buy, the price of a bitcoin will start rising, depending on how much people will buy is the bitcoins price will rise.

If everybody don't spend bitcoin. Then everything will freeze. Nothing will grow. The price will be stuck in a certain value which will eliminate the characteristics of BTC being volatile. People might lose interest too, which is bad.

There will be less transactions and less network congestion. Price may be impacted but the impact may be small. No one spends gold in their daily life but gold price is good and stable.

in my opinion price will shoot atonce as if 99% people don't sale their bitcoin assets and only 1% try to sale and huge buyer waiting then the price will go up and become stable after some time. The reality is it will never happen when thing which exists always remain in use.

I think that will have a lot of impact on bitcoin. This will keep the cost of the bitcoin intact and unchanged. That is a disadvantage for me and all the members at this forum.
If that happens, we can not find a better altcoin to invest. Because bitcoin is a great prop for investors. So it would be the economic crisis in the electronic money market. It's really terrible.

It's simple. I no one spends their BTC the system becomes frozen and will lead to collapse. However, I don't think this will happen. People are enthusiastic about using their BTC and investing as well

Let's assume no one spends bitcoin BTC, this will certainly not help in rising the bitcoin price. The best is people should use bitcoin as a transaction method, that's when we can see more bitcoin popularity and hence there will huge demand for Bitcoin also.

ot would be impossible if no one will be spending bitcoins. Same as our fiat money if no one will spend it, doea it also mean that we stop eating, drinking, paying our bills & so forth? If that's the case everything will fall and what will happen to us? Bitcoin or any other altcoins is also money if we don't use money to pay our employees nor spend any dime how can we live? I believe in crypto currencies for the future. Though I think BTC will be traded differently, more like gold. It might not be used to purchase goods, but traded among people, like art, gold etc.
This is because there will be alts that suit the job as currency better,. but BTC will remain because of its status and name.

bitcoin is very different, do not compare them as unreasonable. If bitcoin will not spend bitcoin value it will be worthless, even worth 500 dollars if you do not do anything with them or they can not make a profit because they can not sell their coins thereby allowing bitcoin security issues.

Well, if no-one spends Bitcoins and no-one buys Bitcoin then there is basically no market. In fact, if the condition would last enough, at some point there would be no Bitcoin any more. It reminds me a line from the film Murder by Death:
Peter Seller in front of a butler who is giving no sign of life: "Heart does not beat. Butler does not breath. If condition will not change - butler dead."

In short, bitcoin price will be played by investor and early adopter, then they left it when it's not profitable anymore. i think you have taken it wrongly. i think the price of bitcoin will increase if no one is going to use bitcoin. because it will mean that they holding it for the price increase. and there will be shortage of bitcoin and every one will be ready to buy it any any cost.

There will always be some people who will spend their bitcoins. This type of people are traders who buys and sell they're crypto currency and if no one spends they're btc the market will be stagnant the price will increase that way it will become boring because of low fluctuations. traders will not make any profit it will be the same as the stock market.

I think the same thing. But how long it would be? And also probably bitcoin value will not dropped down and would be stuck on an exactly one value. And also if we would cash out all in all at the same time probably bitcoin value would dropped to zero (0) I guess. And this would be possible if there will be people who will manage it as a whole.
