HI, can someone explain to me how exactly I would buy iota on slack?

So lets say I would like to buy iota for 0.23 bitcoin, I would send this amount in microBitcoin to the bookkeeper.
+ ( exact fee including transfer fee)

Now, I would have to bid? What would I have to bit on, do I have to wait for other users to offer? What would be my command to
the bookkeeper to get exactly 0.23 bitcoin in iota?

Type ORDERS to see the offers of buyers and sellers.
Currently the best ASK is at 55 microBTC / Miota.

If you wanted to buy 0.23 Bitcoins worth you would calculate 230'000 / 55 = 4181 Miota
You would type BID 4181 55 in order to buy 4181 Miota with your 0.23 BTC

I downloaded bitbay and started it.  This is what I'm looking at
