What you like when gambling alone/ with your friend?

Well if you just want to have fun gambling like going to casinos, it's a lot better if you're with friends. Now if you like a bit of serious gambling, better to do it alone at home to avoid distractions

I tend to like gambling alone because if I lose, which happens quite frequently  , I get bothered if someone that I know is looking at me after I lose.
I would not like to be made fun of by my peers after having to bear the loss money at the same time.
That would be too much pressure to bear.

I think you will not be able to get a good concentration if gambling with all your friends who you have, Because your friends will surely do something things that can ruin your friends or maybe concentrations you instead of the actual purpose of the turn (to gamble). Better do gambling alone you play with good concentrations, therefore more profitable and does not give bad effect

i think that gambling with a person such as your brother is just dumb because you might get him addicted to it, if i ever gamble i always do it alone only because its entertaining for me

Always I do gamble alone because in country gamble are not allow and people also think gamble are really a very bad habit.So I don't want to expose me as a gambler.I think for gamble you need to be concentrate on the game so if people around with you,you can not concentrate properly.

I fly solo, I need to concentrate and don't like people watching me.

Same here.  I don't do dice or any of that, but trading is a completely solitary activity for me.  I don't like playing cards, and I don't even like small talk with friends.  You have to use your head when doing any sort of gambling, and people are just distractions for me.  No drugs or alcohol, either.  The casinos like to load you up with booze so they can steal your money when you're not thinking.

I love playing with my friends when I am gambling, however there are a large number of my friends which do not like to play the same games.  When we are all over one house and betting on a game or something, it is more fun, but when we are at a casino, it is more like all for themselves, for one is over playing 3 card poker and another is playing texas holdem.  So I have to say, it is more fun with friends but we all have to be playing the same game.

well it depends on the game that you want to play and it also depends on the friends that you are playing with.
i was thinking the same way as you but ever since i tried playing some of the card games with my friends like playing poker with them, i have had a lot of fun and i want to try it again instead of playing dice alone.

Not all, and not even half I think... Everyone wants to be a winner, No one desired to just give away his money on gambling.. It means they are into taking profit while they are on the gambling sites.. So if you play along with your friends, its good, specially if you are on poker or what ever kind of game that looks like that...atleast if you lose, they profit...

Gambling with friends has more fun than to play alone, but I can say this while we play than we can concentrate on the game more while playing with friends, if we lose big amount than they will make fun and tell this story to other people how careless we are, that is the reason I like to play alone.

What makes you believe most gamblers are now playing gambling games just for sheer fun? No, most of them play for benefit only without caring about fun at all. But I don't think it has any affect on this subject.

I would hate to do anything alone.
That would mean you are a loner. 

But gambling is a family affair in my country.
It means to get out of the house and have a little fun on a friday night with alot of people.
So to me it is a ritual for having a blast with friends and family.
