There is an anticonstitutionalist organization that what to make Facebook pay for what the users post on it... They believe Facebook is responsible for terrorists attacks

 In my opinion it is insane. Beside the assault of the second amendment there is a strong community worldwide fighting to dismantle freedom of speech too...

Anyway good luck censoring steem, synero or what ever uncensorable networks... What I fear is that once they get Facebook responsible they could then censor and make everyone hosting a node on a p2p network responsible...

nope. facebook or Mark Zuckerberg doesn't have any responsibble if the content posted by facebook users. I've ever heard in Indonesia, a man insulted mr. president and then he was arrested for a few days/weeks.

A rant should be a freedom and never be a violation, if that guy harms no one and just speak his opinion then what's wrong with that? You should also counter it with argument not a physical action.

I strongly agree with you!! Speech what ever the content should be protected worldwide. O RESTRICTIONS. it's just words!!! There is no responsibility in words... For example the constitution is just words, it's the actual backing that make it into reality...

Facebook should not be responsible for each content posted by their users. People should know their limitations. On the other hand, Facebook should also have additional security protocols when signing up which limits under aged individuals in using the service.

well facebook already have this under aged rule . less then 18 years can't join facebook. but facebook is just a software. it is not a humen. I see lots of kids joining facebook but they add their age more then 18 years then facebook can't do anything. people should know their on responsibility and stop making facebook fool.

and yea facebook have other rules too.

Here is what this is all about.

If someone can make Facebook liable for the content of the people posting thereon, then everybody can be made responsible for the content of everybody else in one way or another.

The significance of this is, then government is responsible for everybody.

Why should I care if government people are responsible for everyone? If they are responsible, then they have the authority to get into the lives of everyone in a personal way. And freedom goes out the window.

No everyone is responsible for posting content about his self, but i agree there need to be psycho test in account registration, some people will regret posts they published in their puberty..

Facebook is not responsible for the content, content, user pages. But the administration Facebook reserves the right to close the access to certain times of the page. Either can always close to the user page, which violated the rules of Facebook or the country where the registered user.
