I was going to put this in Off Topic, but I'm some ways away from 50 posts, so...

I've had RJD2's Smoke & Mirrors stuck in my head for the past few hours. It's a good song, goes like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPuv6QE28yc

In light of the, heh, ongoing Bitcoin price adjustment, it's almost apropos.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

The sound of my system minting some coins

Ok... it's a small computer, it's not making any noise at all, it's also minting coins at the blistering speed of .001 coins per day... or something obscenely slow like that

It'd be nice if slush gave the historical BTC/Day mine amount for each worker... that'd be nice...

I enjoy Bright Eyes, Violent Femmes, Metallica, Slayer, Primus, Gogol Bordello, MGMT, Clutch, Vampire Weekend, Dead Kennedys, North Mississippi All-Stars, Season to Risk, the Flaming Lips, AIDS Wolf, the Exploited, the White Stripes, Atari Teenage Riot and bunt.

I'm not sure what if anything this has to do with Bitcoins...  but it's in the Newbie forum anyway, shrug...

I'm listening to the sound of birds outside my window. They just don't ever seem to stay quiet. Even at night!

Same here, they'll pick any time of the day to chirp, day being a 24 hr cycle, of course...
