Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing  Tongue

I chose "Trade Only" since I prefer trading rather than Gambling. Actually, I don't gamble anymore these past few months and no plans of gambling again. In regards to trading, I don't trade too often, but I still find it better since the chance of earning and losing is, I think depends on my decision. I do trade if I think that I will earn, so luck is not much needed unlike in gambling. Well, it's just my opinion.

I don't think both are always profitable. If you gamble for longer time then mostly you will end up losing money to casinos and if anyone try to do day trading then mostly they also will lose all money. But if you're doing trading for longer time frame then one can make some decent profits.

One of it is more profitable than the other.

In gambling you will most of the time lose in the game, as gambling is made only to entertain and not a way to give you or earn you a money for living. yeah you are right that if you play gambling for a long period of time, then most probably you lose a lot of money already.

but when it comes to trading, you use strategies and intelligence to compute for the amount of profit you want to earn before proceeding to selling or buying a coin, most commonly trading a bitcoin to USD for a small amount of profit to earn only takes around 24 Hour or 48 Hours as to what I am experiencing right now.

same to me, i prefer trade rather than gambling. In trading, when we lose, we still get "some" money left, different story if we are gamble, when you lost, you can lost all your money.

Trade has pretty high chance to make decent profit. It depend on this how wise we are to pick the best option. But gambling is purely luck based so that we have no control it. I think so Trade is more profitable than gambling. Even I'm doing both but will consider to do trade.

I choose both because you must split your investment to prevent from loosing everything at time. So you must have a back up plan if the other invesment fail.

Trading also has risk factor but less than gambling, so if we talk poker than it is best form of gambling but only for skilled person who are professional player, they are making very good income by playing poker, I don't good skill with poker so that I think trading is more better than gambling.

Well, if it was, maybe I would choose both, but now I am more interested in the trading of the gambling. the reason is, because trading is not particularly a great risk like gambling, other than that if you're good at trading, the risk that you receive may be just a little bit. I was still a little interested in gambling, but was limited to sports betting

Tried both sides and voted for both i can say that gambling is for short term because you really cant beat the house(only rely on the luck you have) and trading is for long term one can make a nice chunk of profits by investing their time in trading. I dont agree about trading is kinda same with poker but thats just me we all have different opinions.

I like both trading and gambling, but I gamble more than trading. Trading makes me cant stay away from charts..this is what I dont like on trading, so I gamble more especially on sports betting.

I must prefer in trading because its much safer than in gambling you can control your coins in trading but you have to study and learn the altcoin you want to trade. Better in gambling you only base in your luck but if you feel that you have luck then better gamble what you can afford to lose.

When you like to acquire more bitcoin and become involved in the cryptosphere there is nothing else to do but make skill bets and trade cryptocurrencies. If there was only a part time job that is available that will pay in bitcoins, I will take it. But there is none that I am qualified because most of them are for programmers. If I am wrong with this please tell me where I can find a job that will pay in bitcoins.

well i can't deny the role that luck (chance) plays in trading too but i don't like calling trading as a bit of a gamble.

and to answer your question i am only trading for money making and will always gamble for fun as i play other games.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

It is a bit of a gamble. You are never assured if the altcoin you bought will go up. Also when it does go up you are never assured if your sell price is correct. Because sometimes after you sell the coin will still continue to go up and it is like leaving money on the table. Then sometimes when you keep holding the price goes down making your profit smaller. Anything that involves risk is a bit of a gamble.

My personal experience with trading is not so good but some people are expert in this, so that is why I think trading is more like to gamble, recently I picked a altcoin on very high price but dramatically it went 5x other day.

By right, trading is a more feasible approach to grow your bitcoin amount. However to me, trading and gambling are both equally risky as i am not a good investor that knows how to do a detail check on whatever i am investing. For a lot of alt coin, i cant really distinguish the differences and have not much clue why some can succeed and why some fail.

I trade and gamble both. Am a professional trader on localbitcoins and do gamble frequently on sports and poker combined. Trading is more safer anytime, but gambling tends to payout more if you are lucky.
