Hmmzz, I prefer to learn a trade and know more about the knowledge of the trade. Because trading more profitable and more enjoyable than any gambling, as in trade we can do something that may only be obtained in trade. Namely, we can determine the advantages and avoid disadvantages

trading is gambling in definition , where you have to risk money in order to win money and i you just buy and hope or open random orders then trading is worse than gambling but you can make money if you work hard and study the market , same with poker which is considered as a gambling too

Trading is a lot more time-consuming and requires a lot more knowledge and free time than sportsbetting for example and that's why I don't like it very much. Gambling is perfect for having quick fun with the perspective of earning some free cash here and there and that is a lot more convenient for me. And as I have a day job I can't be spending any time day trading as well and that is a major no-no for me.

Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing Trading and Gambling both are different. In trading you need experience and you have control over your trade, you can trade by market watching, prediction, people intention etc and you have control when ever you want to quiet.beside Gambling you can just wait for your luck,if your luck is good you will win if your luck is bad you will lose.you don't need any technical experience like baby's game.

It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing yes they seem a little bit similar in that area, but very different in longer time period, e.g. if you play poker continuously you might win, but if some new player enters the game your win streak might be beaten even if you are an experienced poker player, unlike in trading if you do trading longer and gain more experience you will be more successful the longer you do trading.

If you start to take interest in trading and become serious for starting trade then it will take no time for you to learn trading with bitcoin, The actual problem with you is that you got fun at gambling and now you are unable to leave that place.

Trading is better than any gambling game. Because if your expectation did not happened you will not lose instant. You can wait until you think you will earn or you can give up sell the coin and buy a different coin that you will think you will earn. Unlike in gambling there are many methods but every methods will make you lose in the long run.

I will prefer to do altcoin trading because it has very good potential to get decent amount in return. Trading has very good safety as compare with gambling where we have no chance for survival. Although I'm playing on some dice sites and like sports betting too.

Good point, to be honest I started earning bitcoins by gambling. So, I became addicted to it because i'm winning. But, there was this time that all of my BTC's are constantly loosing to gambling sites so I decided to quit it and find another investment that will make me earn BTC with less risk. And that was the time that I started trading. And it has a positive impact, now i'm earning BTC by trading and hoping to reach my goal(have at least 1 BTC) and soon, i'm going to do that.

Yes, you are right. In definition they are very close to each other but practice shows that they are completely separate. Subject like risk management, crowd behaviour, fluctuations are distinguishing them both. There is one more feature which makes them different from one another and its a fun factor Yes, you can take joy from trading but only when you are successful, gambling however, different story. For me trading is like hard work where gamble is pure fun. Risks are similar, rewards also can be alike but fun never will be. Personally I find trading more stressful, much more than gambling.

And if you think about it. The stress in gambling only comes after the game. Whether you won or lost an amount. There will always be stress that accompanies a gambler. It's an addiction it's a real problem for some others.

For trading you must have knowledge. For gambling you need nothing only luck to win. Knowledge will increase the chance with betting and also something does happen unexpected you can lose but it is more fair then to gamble. To gamble it isn't fair. The win on the gamble has no knowledge or skill.

if you really want to remain safe and do not take risk of losing your money then you should only compromise on trading. because there is comparatively less risk of loosing your own investment as in gambling.

Those are not really tips those are basic and common knowledge. I agree though that trading is better, you can make a lot more you can even fold your money over multiple times just like with gambling but sometimes it;s just small amounts but at least it is some and much more consistent than gambling will ever be.

It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing I agree with you that both possesses a common characteristics which is on the basis of winning on both which is chance although that makes them similar but not the same thing because what differentiate them is the amount of risk involved and this is a major factor in deciding which one to go for out of the two options... My 2 cents...

To summarize this topic: If you are afraid of losing money - then either gambling or trading is not for you. The only risk free method of gaining money is bank deposit with interested rates. Other than that you will risk your money.
Discussing what is more risky gambling or trading has zero chances of ending with the right conclusion so we better stop now.
