Trading vs Gambling

People should know that for trading skills and knowledge is necessary. Without its very hard, market is moving all the time and to follow that someone need to know this is done.
For gambling we don't need knowledge, for some game we need to have skills, but everything is easy to learn.
I'm a gambler, and that is what I like to do. With trading I didn't have success, and I think its very hard to make money with trading. With gambling is easier and more interesting.

I prefer trading because if you have good strategy and if you trade the good altcoins , you could making profit easily, while gambling is just depending on luck

I do both, these 2 ways are both high risk and high reward modes. I prefer trading because gamling is not predictable, but trading is predictable.

Well, the similarity gambling with trades may be just on how you play the trading. if you play without consideration, maybe you're just gambling, because it depends on your luck. however, if you analyze the price as well as possible, you can minimize your losses and maximize your income. So, trading is still better than gambling

The problem is that it is very difficult to guess how good a coin will do in future ( considering alt coins ) because even of the plan of coin is good sometimes the developers might just dump all the coins. I think the best thing to trade right now is assets in burst because at east we know the vaue and understand how good an asset is.

Both activities involved you. It is just that you have more control over trading while gambling you have no control over the result. That is why you can minimise your trading risk by research while gambling you just have to rely on luck especially against the house edge.

Yes true risk of loss from trading smaller than gambling. So the trade more profitable. though trading can be very harmful but if you can understand and learn will certainly benefit greatly.

Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing 

Yes im little bit confusing too about trading and gambling because in tradeing you could lose money here too and theres no 100% guaranteed that you can sell your coin in the high price but you can sell it also but its more cheaper than the old price and in gambling you could lose there instantly .

You should mention reason also, why you prefer gambling? If you only want to enjoy casino games for fun then gambling is good but shouldn't gamble everyday because you may slowly addict to these games and may start losing lot of money in gambling.

To having fun, the gambling is a good method. You will get a lot of fun here. But if you take this serious and trying to make money in gambling. I am sure you will addict to this gambling. But trading is not like that it is one type of business. Here you need investment, and you should know the proper place or person to invest that's it. But making a profit in both trading and gambling is not easy.

Interesting as I also trading most often now in poloniex also. May I know how many trades you have in a day? if we do day trade, I guess at least 5 trades a day is a good minimum. I am trying to do at least 10 trades a day but at max I only get to 2 max trades a day because I get scared Well, I'm am now trying to manage my bankroll by dividing it into 10 and trade those 10 within a day whether I win or lose - it is a process of my learning

I think the trade is not included gambling because it was so different. If the we can study and understand the trade, we shall be able to benefit with certainty. But in contrast to gambling because it is a game that we can benefit and losses in accordance with luck.

I agree but trading needs luck too. Without luck, I tell you my story, I had invested in almost 5 coins and thought I will make good profit but suddenly all the coins got to much lower value say 25% down. Then once I sod the price again went up slowly, now isn't that poor luck ?

He preferred gambling but it does not mean it is profitable, some like gambling because it is fun to play while trading is boring, and there also people who makes a good profit in gambling and it is faster compared to trading I guess, really depends on individuals comfort.

The one who prefers gambling and are doing good at it are the type of person that are risk taker. They can afford to lost their bankroll in exchange of greater and fast profit. But, this is really not advisable to newbies in the field because at start you will really be disappointed with the outcome unless, you are very lucky enough.

The strategies of gambling can be applied on trading and the other way around At the end of the day you are going to need to become really good at managing loses and managing your feelings when facing a loss. Retiring early can be a victory.
