Comparing the risk of gambling with exchange down is not reasonable, if you are afraid your funds in exchange will be lost because the website is down then you simply put back your trading funds in your personal wallet and send back to the exchange if you are start to trading.
Gambling is not only high risk but also often gives bad effects to the mental especially if you can not manage the emotions themselves, But whatever choice there is gambling or trading I really respect it.

I agree with you. The problem is that there are many people that thinks that is impossible to win long term form gambling, but that is not true if they go for sports betting or poker. If they go to those skill games, then I think trading or gambling could be exactly the same, if people get serious at it, and do it as their job. There are professional bettor, and professional poker players, and professional traders. So yes, it can be the same thing, but with a different approach.

Transfer funds from the exchange site to you personal wallet? How could someone do that if the site is DOWN? I think you don't know what you have just posted. But it is true that if you are going to store your bitcoin in an exchange there is a possibility that it would be lost, that is why if you do have bitcoin in an exchanger site, because of profits that you have made on selling your Altcoins, then better withdraw it right away, than to lost it forever.

It's not random if your chances of winning are 49% vs chances of winning 51%, you will lose more than you win, that's not random. Sure you can win on sports or horse betting or poker but those are totally different from casinos, roulettes and dice. You are doomed to lose playing dice, it's math.

But sports betting and poker and card games are different here first importance is for our experience, and later our luck will decide we will win or not. You are on the right path dude and just continue on what you are doing because gambling doesnt really give any benefit at all.Its not actually bad to play gambling as long you do know the limitations on doing it then it should be fine.ICO investments are risky if you dont know how to spot a good project.Trading is really good than gambling it may generate profits a little bit slower but still okay for long term purposes.

I disagree with you. IMO exchange sites aren't down (Poloniex was down a little bit today because of stellar coin was too insane), there are few coins which rising too today. Trading is not same with gambling, trading needs more skills compared gambling which only depends from your luck.

I don't think that Watershin is trying to say that ICO's are scams. Sure there are ICO's that are up for your money but that's not always the case. There are a lot of possibilities that you could earn from ICO's, whether it would be a great opportunity or not, as long as you believe in yourself and try to understand and research on what you are investing in and that's great.

Yes that is right answer the main thing is that every person if is going to adopt any of the job he have to take care of the main points and have to take care of the rules of that job and do not have to go for extreme in that job and have to keep control on his emotions he will be secured in any of them.

But if one don't have a trading knowledge then it is almost same as gambling because they may be buying and selling just based on guessing things. When people do the trading by only guessing, then it is almost same a gambling because in those trade they need only luck to make money. But if one got some knowledge then they will have a better chance of making money from trading compared to gambling.
