IMO it depends n your way of trading, if you are following analysis and indicators you aren't simply gambling and doing more of a professional trading style while random trading classify as gambling.
If you think about it, Stocks and Forex markets are the same as cryptocurrency market, You are a gambler if you do it randomly and a trader if in a professional evidence-based trading.

As you said trading can be profitable only if you have a good knowledge about the trading. So it is very important to learn basics first before jumping into the trading business. Because in trading also many experts lost a lot of money so first learn how it works and then starts slowly instead of going all in at one time. Experience gives you better profits in trading.

Usually traders do based on the past performance of an asset but trading in crypto is different because the price movement is hugely based on the speculation and the news, every important factors has to be considered.

Yes it is not good to compare Trading and gambling, Both are not equal. Only thing is a risk there in both process but to compare profit wise trading is far better than gambling. I agree with the first statement but I disagree with the remaining of it. Basically trading has it's own risks and if you are talking of crypto trading like altcoins and all then the risk get's even bigger. Gambling is always extremely risky be it long term or short term. You won't know for sure what the outcome would be and you're prone to becoming addicted which is another part of gambling that can ruin your life. None of that is in trading. Though risky as well, the risk compared to gambling is a lot less and you can considerably increase your chances of profit with researching altcoin movement and history

That's not true mate. In gambling too experience will make you control yourself and hence much more controlled and stable gambling. Trading with experience gets better I can't disagree but actually there are certain risks involved in trading too.

Even the big guys like Buffet take decisions that prove wrong only because there is a risk element involved too, but overall trading is much better than gambling.

It think it is not the same.  Gambling especially dice, slots, roulette and other chance games solely rely on the internal setup of the game.  So no matter how hard you prepare your statistics, it won't affect the outcome.   Now with trading you have different factor to consider, it is not the outcome that you need to affect but rather your decision on which one to buy or sell.  Meaning, in trading, knowing all the factors, news, development etc, can affect your decision and thus mitigate your risk factor.

I'm gambling sometimes and trading sometimes and although these two can be awfully close, I try my best to trade as professional as possible and not getting moved by the same way as gambling and trying to do actual analysis, but it's hardly any different.

I am confident trading always win against with gambling, because of it's profitablility and you can always have quick trades and good profit earnings as you sell your holdings after all. Unlike gambling you cannot be sure all the time on your profit for investing on betting for a certain and all of the most situations is a game of chance for a lucky profit that you always hope for. So if I were you while you are doing gambling as your daily investments, make a big part of trading aside from investing a lot amount of your bitcoin in gambling. You will not regret in trading as long as you have patience holding your amount of holdings, your profit will eventually increase as price of the coin increases.

It's a fact when it comes to profit power, many will still dependent to trading. But gambling is also a good way to earn not by the usual way of gambling but you can invest to different casino's that are allowing people to deposit to their bankroll. The profit is not that high for small investors but if you've got a big load, you'll receive justifiable profit.

Investing in a casino is also not the best answer. Investing in casinos is very risky, many people have experienced this problem. Now we have to distinguish between gambling and trraders. For me a true trader then he will not play gambling. Every corner of work there are chooses.

Trading and gambling are the same..it all comes down to personal preference

both pose a risk of losing money and both require some knowledge to guarantee winnings.

Trading is a lot more time-consuming and requires a lot more knowledge and free time than sportsbetting for example and that's why I don't like it very much. Gambling is perfect for having quick fun with the perspective of earning some free cash here and there and that is a lot more convenient for me. And as I have a day job I can't be spending any time day trading as well and that is a major no-no for me.

Yeah either knowledge or you need a high bankroll with a immense patience level. Trading is only good till you don't start taking risks because once you start taking risks over your experience and strategy then it's actually gambling. Guys may not notice but trading and gambling are almost similar but with a distinct and very slim boundary between them.

It is better to enter trading because whrn you trade there is always assurance that you can have something in return and you can gain profit wheb you trade. Therefore we have to choose trading if we are investing our money to grow or increase it, gambling is definitely for fun only and it will only make you lose your money if you will pursue to fight for the win. I tried that before but failed many times, so I guess it's time to move one and focus on what really gives you money which is trading.
