Both are the same really, both lose you tons of cash. As far as I am concerned there is no difference. When you trade, you gamble that the price of the coin you are trading will move in a particular direction. If it does, fine, you win. If it goes against you, not good, you lose. How is this different from gambling?
The difference is that in trading you can cut your losses while in gambling once you make the bet luck decides what happens, trading in a way is similar to poker, most people lose but there are those with enough skill to make money out of it in a regular basis.

yes I think if the price again start increasing then you have the chance to recover  your lost. and even can change your lost in to profit if the price increase further more. but in gambling when you lose your money, then there  is no chance to recover your money, but only to invest more money there.

It is pretty obvious that are aimed is to get a profit in gambling and also in trading. Your right regarding that trading losing can control but more profit that can get than gambling. Gambling can't assure the future that result a bad because even we always play we become greedy (based on my experienced) we can't control those emotions and always come back for chances. And when I experience the trading in I realize that much better to trade because the chances of profit is high and possible result in the end is good.

Both skills in trading and gambling have a role to increasethe winning probability of a trader or gambler . The price recovers if it is a good coin  but if not you will be more in lost of profit .Other thing is in trading the knowledge you have is better applied than gambling but both canmake us greedy if you push to earning in losing situations.

There are no skills which are needed in cryptocurrency trading. it is the same old story over and over again: people are throwing educated guesses and whoever guesses correctly think that the is really worthy of being called bitcoin guru. I know more people who lost money because of failed trading decision than who bankrupt purely due to gambling failure. Trading = Gambling, for the most part.

Mastering trading skills and knowledge is way important and worth the time than mastering how to gamble - well, this is just my personal opinion because trading can be a profitable venture while you can mitigate the risks by the knowledge and skills you have. You will not always win because you can lose trades that is for sure but at least you can manage to win more with your trading skills.

Trading is the best and fastest way I've ever gotten to add bitcoin, but in gambling, I always lose my money, but most likely, more gambling players than trading. But I feel that trading is still better. Many are more likely to gamble perhaps because they really love the game that pumps adrenaline
there are lots of people in gambling because a lot of people doesn't know how to invest and how to do it or how to make their bitcoin grow in investing. But I agree that trading is better than gambling because most of the time we are just losing money in gambling.

Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing  Tongue
I think here we can show many factors which are making the gambling and trading totally similar but I don't think that there is anything which is making us to confidence that we should make gambling .
Here is myself making gambling for fun and doing trading for the serious earnings .
In the gambling in the one time you can loss the all money and will never get anything in the future but if you will get in any coin whose price get much down then still we can have the hope that the price will get increase in future and we will not recover our investment but also we will get our return with profit  .
So I am doing the both things but doing the single work seriously to make money that is trading .

There are many people in gambling because everyone wants an easy and fast money without doing any hard work and they think that it can be possible only in gambling. But in reality, they will not make money. Instead, they lose more money in gambling, and by the time most of the gamblers realise this it will too late and might have lost lot of money in it. Go to gambling only if you want to enjoy your free time and not to make money from it.

The problem is that most that trade cryptocurrencies do not have a formal education and sometimes they do not even read a book about the subject so when they are trading they are not using any kind of technique or knowledge so they are mostly guessing instead of taking an informed decision.

so you think when it comes to forex trading there's a skills? or it is just the same? trading indeed it feels like a random guesses , but when you look at different and a lot of view you will see that actually there is something to learn to make your 'guesses' as accurate as possible.

that is what makes trading and gambling different, you can really learn how to make money through trading not like a pure guessing in gambling.

But in games like poker it's the skill that actually can make you win, not pure guessing. You need luck as well as in trading but there are also particular skills and strategies that you can learn. And as sport betting is also considered gambling we can say that in this kind of game we have even more data to read and learn who will win the particular sport game. You can see last matches of the team, their current form, their previous games against that rival so you can make some confident predictions with that much data. While looking at unpredictable crypto charts that tell you nothing, with whales being able to influence price whenever they want.

It happens in the noob traders not knowing where to invest and having not enough knowledge in altcoin trading .Some act like a pro trader i know crypto's that eth something like that but they didn't even know how eth works not only in trading .They only know the coins but not the real aspects of a coin.

I chose "Trade Only" since I prefer trading rather than Gambling. Actually, I don't gamble anymore these past few months and no plans of gambling again. In regards to trading, I don't trade too often, but I still find it better since the chance of earning and losing is, I think depends on my decision. I do trade if I think that I will earn, so luck is not much needed unlike in gambling. Well, it's just my opinion.
same to me, i prefer trade rather than gambling. In trading, when we lose, we still get "some" money left, different story if we are gamble, when you lost, you can lost all your money.

If a person is a skilled trader, he can even get a good profit even though his holdings value is decreasing.  Unlike in gambling if a person lost his bet, he already lost them and need to bet again if he wanted to regain his loses.  Which often times resulted in chasing loses and lose even more.  So I agree that in trading, people can recover even part of the money they invested unlike in gambling where they lost the money they bet when the roll is favorable to house.
Although trading is good if you have good experience in trading, but I do not think that if the price of a product where you have invested your money in reducing and still you can make money, there. I think then you have only one chance and that is to wait tell the time when the price of the product start increasing and reach to the point where you bought it can save you from lost.

Trading most of the time is gambling. When you put your money in an unknown market, and know nothing about it, just wanna ride it up and down.

That is no different than gambling ,and like gambling, you will probably lose a lot of money there.

It is easy. Gambling is for entertainment and mostly depends on luck, while trading is like a profession or something that you do in order to gain profits.

skill and experience is too much important in every field of life, i think not only in crypto trading but even in day trading skill and experience play an important role. to me i think those people who have good trading skill they have little risk to lose money in trading and any other relevant  field. i am in favour of trading, but i feel more confident when i have good experience and skill in trading.

Trading is indeed more safe, but if you don't know what you are doing, trading will be much more riskier than gambling. Since if you don't know how to trade you are like gambling under lower chances of winning than if you just bet on a 50-50 game of dice. That is why there are a lot of horror stories in trading and investing, it is because they know nothing.
Trading is depending on your experience and skill. It is  also depending on your interest, I think trading without sound knowledge and experience is too much risky and there is always chance to lose money which you have put in trading. i think trading without experience and knowledge is even more risky than gambling. And there are chances to lose money in trading if there is no experience.

You can do mistake like that in trading too, buy coin that will crash next day and won't get back to old price again. It is not that hard to earn small profit from trading, it is much harder to get huge profit from it though. Trading is much better than gambling imo as at least it feels that you can control outcome of your decisions, and you can rely on facts instead of lucky numbers statistics

Ya it is true that in trading you have control of loss in your hand but in casino, dice gambling you cannot control the loss as what ever bet you make the result can be either way. But in sports betting you can do same way of betting like trading as in this also you can control your loss. so if you wanted to gamble then go for sports betting
