MtGox earns on Trading fees - not on withdrawals. (Potentially on SEPA - not sure)

0.65% on each trade for both sides = 1.3% of turnover at MtGox are fees.

people post here asking 1:1 for paypal BECAUSE MT.GOX DIRECTLY TELLS US TO.
I see what you are refering to This thread has people willing to sell you Mt Gox $ in various ways. If you post there I'm sure you can get a 1:1 exchange rate from paypal or something else.
Unfortunately I think that is very misleading and outdated information. You got to ask yourself...why doesn't MTGOX just take 1:1 PayPal then? I could be wrong, but from what I understand almost no one takes PayPal due to charge backs. Even if you offer someone 2:1 via paypal, the seller is still susceptible to the charge back. So why the heck would anyone take 1:1 paypal? There is nothing to gain and everything to lose for the seller. I recommend offering payment via bank transfers and wire transfers with some kind of incentive (ie at least 1% on top). No, I am not selling any of my bitcoins... I am posting this because I want to see MORE buyers into Bitcoin instead of a bunch of unfulfilled offers. If I am way off here please tell me.

No, you are right. People who sell their BTC for paypal are plain out stupid. They have been warned so many times yet people fall for it. I for one have no sympathy anymore. I'm not even replying to PM's that have the word Paypal in them. Still getting a few of those every now and then. You are selling a non-reversible commodity, so take a non-reversible currency in return if you value your money.

I just signed up to Mt. Gox, I am looking for $2000.00 dollars worth for a deposit. I am willing to pay with paypal. Of course I wouldn't do the 2k all at once, start with $100.00 a day and increase to $250 a day until the 2k is met.
PM me.

I'm looking to buy BTC with $300 using moneypak. I am a TRUSTED and VOUCH member. TECSHARE, wiseoldowl, and trader steve can all vouch for me. Their vouches for me can found in the "honest traders" thread.

need to trade 899USD on mtgox for €, since none of the withdrawal options really make sense for my feewise.
German Wire Transfer or SEPA or personal meeting. I bid spot +0,01 (1,44 atm)
that would amount to 624€ right now.
interested? drop me a line.

WTB: MtGox USD via Paypal or Canadian Interac e-transfer. I don't have a reasonable way to move currency into MtGox and would like to buy $750 MtGox USD. PM me if you are interested. I'm new to the forum so hopefully I can establish a bit of a good rep using some other areas. I don't buy and sell much on EBay, but I do have a 100% feedback rating: http://myworld.ebay.ca/enygma101I am in good standing with paypal with no history of chargebacks (not sure how I can provide proof of this). If there is any more personal information you need as part of due diligence, PM me.
