FYI, there's some regular mtgusd-ppusd trading going on on #bitcoin-otc. See http://bitcoin-otc.com for details, outstanding order book, etc. So anyone who wants to exchange mtgusd, feel free to stop by.

You can buy up to 20 BTC per week at CoinPal using a verified PayPal account. I hope to increase that limit within the next few days. You can also visit #bitcoin-otc on Freenode where bitcoins are commonly available for various payment methods.

Yep, I was looking for some MTGUSD. I can pay via AUD + % convenience fee to the seller.. ie 0.94 AUD, or if someone has an offer.. pm me. I can pay via PP, but I figure bank transfer is a harder method and would be preferable to seller.

Only 1:1? Does that mean you want to buy 200 BTC for only $200? They're worth much much more than that now. If you're willing to buy BTC at 1.5% over the best ask at MtGox of comparable size, let me know and we'll trade.

I will exchange MtGoxUSD for MoneyPak, MoneyGram, Western Union. These options allow you to buy and sell your MtGoxUSD with cash. This is an attractive option for international BitCoin users who are unable to instantly fund their MtGox account at reasonable rates or cash out at reasonable rates. $20 minimum - $1,100 maximum for MoneyPak (USA Only) $1,000 USD minimum for Western Union/MoneyGram (International) 3-7% exchange rate depending on size. Instant transfer to your MtGox account upon receipt of funds. PM me for arrangements. Read this thread to review my trustworthiness and read about verified transactions: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6223.0You may also contact me at the following: AIM: BitcoinExchange Skype: BitcoinExchange ICQ: 636676071 Twitter: BitcoinXchange UPDATE - 5/23/2011 - LIMITED TIME ONLY! How does one go about transferring MtGox USD to another MtGox user? Is there a hidden option or must this be requested in e-mail?
|
Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable. I never believe them. If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins. I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion. Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice. Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.
