Can't download blockchain.

I am getting this error, and I already have all the blocks downloaded in the %appdata% section.

What client version is this? You should use 0.8.1.

Can you show some contents of your debug.log, which resides in your datadir?

I keep getting the same error and have been trying for the past two days to rescan for the same thing to occur at 8 days left to catch up or 99.26% complete. At that point it crashes and on restarting that message appears and it won't download anymore of the blockchain. I think that from 8 there has been a problem and the quick fix to 8.1 has cause other issue. I think I might just go back to my older wallet as it works fine.

The wallet crashed when I started chrome afer reboot because of wallet prob. Since changing from chrome I haven't had the trouble I was with 8.1. It reminds me of the old days in the days when addressing problems happen when two programs tried using the same space way back wen 2KB was massive.
