Help setting up Gridseed 5 Chip on Ubuntu PC.

I have a extra PC that I want to use for mining. I haven't mined since 2011 and want to get back into it as a hobby. However I am having a hard time figuring out how to configure my gridseed on ubuntu.

Not sure how to find the COM port I am hooked up to. Or how to run CGMiner, is this a good choice in software for mining?

Also not sure where to get the driver for my gridseed.
