And of course, you'll also have full control of the address because you have the private key.

Trusted an exchange that climbed to the top 3 in just under 2 years with your money? you are fucking stupid.

Hey Guys,

I offer a Vanity Private Key Generation. You can chose any Pattern for the Private Key and then I will send it you later on a secure way you want.
The first 3 persons who offer a Vanity Private Key will get it for free. Cheesy

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley

As the above user said , you will have full access to our private key . Shorena is more trusted you and provide a secure way to do that also his rates are pretty good . I don't see why anyone would use your service.

What's Shorena? I never heard anything about it. :O

It's a person (user on the forums) , not a thing. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=181801

Only split-key vanity generation is secure. Is that what you're doing?

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Vanity private key? That is really stupid, because you can just take a random private key, like 5XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (however long a private key is), and just change the first few digits to what you want. My vanity private key (not sure why you would want one) would end up as 5DarkStarXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

If you mean vanity address, up to what length are you willing to generate for free for the first 3 people?

Any lenght between 1 and 42 from the third character and when you have a pattern that beginns with J or K than any lenght between 1 and 43.
Are you interested in a free one? Smiley
Based on the fact that your willing to do any length between 1 and 43, you aren't generating a vanity address. Vanity private keys are useless, and won't make a difference other than someone else knowing your key (the person offering to generate them in this case). Not sure if he/she is stupid and thinks he can generate vanity addresses, or is trying to scam someone.

For those that are confused, a private key looks like "5KYZdUEo39z3FPrtuX2QbbwGnNP5zTd7yyr2SC1j299sBCnWjss". The private key imports into an address (1HZwkjkeaoZfTSaJxDw6aKkxp45agDiEzN in this case). Making your private key have custom stuff won't do anything, since you should be the only one who knows what your private key looks like.

Hm. It's almost a brainwallet without the hashing, if you could manage to get a bunch of memorable words and numbers to checksum correctly for a private key.

No nobody can change first 2 digits according to their wish. It wont work that way.
All you have to do is to brute force the preferred prefix and wait for it to get found by the owner.

In this case OP is offering (maybe) a split-key vanity generation service where you give a public key and he generates a generic private key of it and you derive the exact private key for the vanity. This way nobody except you will actually know the private key.

I don't see the point of having a Vanity Private key.
For brain wallet, you can use mircoin. This is the best brain wallet in my opinion.
