Do any people gamble under the age of 18?

Yes. Most of the people who gamble are minors. As they need money to buy things and they can't get from their parents. They use gambling for them to have a lot of money and buy things. That's bad for the gambling because minors manage to gamble even if they don't have a money of their own. They can use their parent's money just to gamble.

I dont think the minor gamble to get what they want. They usually gamble due to peer pressure cause they want to join in the fun with their friends. They treat it as a form of entertainment while hanging out with their friends.

They don't really get what they want minor always think that gambling is really fun and they making it cool if they are going to play. They don't know the real risk everytime they playing it loosing money getting addicted asking money just to play gambling is a sin , even they purpose is just to hang with friends or just to entertain other players.

No i think they play gambling to earn pocket money, kids play gambling with their parent's money, so they don't like to spoil that money just for fun and entertainment. They will play to double their investment. But yes they don't know how risk is this gambling. And if they don't have money they will lend money from friends and they play gambling this is really bad for kids.

yes definitely there's so many people younger than 18 that are gambling whether it is online or outside the internet, in my experience there's so many kids that dealing with card games, cara y crus and other kind of games related to gambling they are dealing with it at the early age which started from 10 years and i have encountered some teenager if i'm not mistaken he's only 16 or 17 and he is like a pro in dice game because he can often double his $10.

Personnaly, I think that's not a problem because I have a lot of knowledge who had who are minors but they bet just with a small part of the money they earn themselves. In this case, I do not see any problem.

Lets say they could able to earn from gambling but its not really a good idea to engage into gambling in early age. Lets say your son engage into gambling and hes already gaining money with that but the time for studies is compromised because of gambling and its not really good and also engaging on gambling will surely make you a gambling addict on early stage too.

Yes their are playing gambling with their parents moneys even though they are just uwing there pocket money. They don't have experience in gambling and there are lots of professional gambler in gambling you know that if you are going to play vs. professional they are more skilled than kids. Because they had alot of experience kids doesn't play gambling just to double their money they are just doing it for fame if they hanging with their friends.

Yea I was gambing under 18 and now I have 18 about 2 weeks was my 18 year bitrhday but I gamble online from 1 year ago and my first sport betting tikets was when  I was 5 years old hehehe but gambling can be good for kids which are under 18 because If they gamble smart they can earn a lot but I think that gamble for under 18 need to be allowed but with some limits.

Not only you but there are so many other people who are playing gambling illegally, as gambling is an illegally activity in some country for all age of people for both male and female,  but in those areas where gambling is legal still they do not allow under 18 to play gambling both in casino or online but still they find ways for playing gambling.

I think even the money is not from their parents it can be still a problem.. because it can wreck his life or his future if he just gamble and be addicted in gambling that can push to them in to violated or do some bad habit like get money from their parents without inform them or be a thief for money and just gamble it..
Honestly many here in my country doing this and gamble just to make a large amount of money to chase their loses or other reason..

I want to know if anyone here gambles or have gambled under the age of 18, I feel like there are many kids who do this and I am interested to see how many people actually gamble under 18, if you have any friends that gamble or have gambled under 18 include them.


EDIT: I mean mostly kids online, its hard to be a kid and gamble physically. I feel like the gambling rate for kids is increasing a lot and is gonna be a problem in the future, especially with the CS:GO situation.

Well, I didn't gamble when my age under 18 but I had seen my brother and his friends gamble physically few years ago, consider it as juvenile delinquency and want to try earn extra money. Actually, I've never seen kids/teenager did online gambling before as it more difficult to found as they could do it at home and secretly from their families.
However, parents should be control their childs and give an advice to stay away from gambling.

The reason is obvious, the government profited from those.  Anything that the government does not have profit is illegal, like when an establishment is not reagistered to gaming board, automatically they are illegal even if they have only lottery or dice as their game.

In my country even if you are of legal age if you are gambling in the street with your friends, they can arrest you because gambling outside gaming regulatory board approved institution is illegal.

The only reason I see why they put age restriction is just to protect themselves that they ate not offering services to minor even though they know that its a balant lie and that minor even patronise them. The only reason why that will work is if below 18 does not have access to phones or internet aside that nothing can be done. I'm not 18 but I'm sure below 18 would be gambling.

If a man is under 18years old and he has a job or anything else that give him some money for his work, I don't see why he cannot bet. If he is enough old to work, he is enough old to have his own choice and in that case he should can spend money as he wants to

In my country the minors who gamble are in majority intelligent and I think that they know what addiction can do and they are certainly very careful.

I don't see any problems coming to anyone who would gamble under the age of 18 because if they have sources like bitcoins, no one would ask for KYC information due to which even minors can gamble. In other types of sites where KYC is needed, I don't think they would let underaged to gamble.

Well, I think different people have different maturity level like for example my uncle's age is around 31 and he still lacks the wisdom and maturity that a 20 year old student should posses. So I think if you are mature enough and your age is 12 years also then there is no problem in gambling, 18 years was made a standard because thats the usual age when people get mature.
