Well, we cannot prevent hat thing, the internet makes it possible with the help of bitcoin. It's good for the operators but bad for the minors as they can easily be addicted when playing with lack of maturity. I'm sure that there exists a person of the age 16-17 who does gamble his money. Probably still his allowance or some money he/she made it out of part-time jobs. I personally don't have a problem with them gambling its the addiction or other consequences that I'm worried about. I see a lot of adults that are addicted to gambling and need medical help/ rehab to get out of it but they don't. When it comes to kids, the %age of those cases would be higher. It is never advisable to gamble in the first place if its not for just entertainment.

No, parents can't prevent their children to use bitcoin in gambling. Take note, most parents don't know what bitcoin is, but a clever child could know it in early age, same as gambling. Though they are the responsibility of their parents, they just cannot prevent them specially if the family is liberated. All the parents did is to see their children growing and don't care much about their personal activities.

I am 100% certain with you, I have same thinking like you. Because the age of under 18, it is not a maichor age, In this age, we can't take a high decision and high risk.
If we do start gambling under 18, than it is dangerous for our future, because we are using our all thinking only in gambling and we have no time to think about our future, and also use our money in gambling, than we will start to earn money from only gambling, And one day we became addicted, That's why i always say that should avoid gambling under 18, it is a base of future age, not for gambling age.
