You dont need to be 18 to earn BTC or other cryptocurrencies so children can take advantage of that and use it for gambling definitely. Once they get addicted in the early age it will be complicated to become normal later on.

I do see it is as the failure of parential protection. It would be the responsibility of every parent to monitor and take care of their children so that they will not misguided by any of their friends toward gambling or the any bad habits.

Certainly we can say if under age people get into gambling then their future will be a very big question mark because gambling addictions are very much dangerous to ruin their future.

It depends in my country there are some machines that you can find almost anywhere where a small roulette with images of fruits spins and if you hit it right then you get a prize, in my opinion those are gambling machines and are very popular in my country especially amongst kids.

Actual gambling like that,that uses tokens and when won can exchange in toys were really play by kids,but young ones that can use computer will also into online gambling that will soon  get real money,it cant avoid to happen since children were hard to monitor now especially when they engaging in gadgets.

Yes, Of course because it is so easy to lie in the internet so basically there's under age that are gambling because no one can know what is they real age. That is one of negative side from bitcoin because it didn't request any verification id and for sure there will be a lot of teenager go to gamble, because at that age they will be curious and feel that they can win against the house, that is why I predict there will be a lot of people addicted in gambling in the future

I thought that the guys on Bitcointalk was at least 20 years and up, it's like there's a bunch of kids posting around stating that their age set should gamble and there's nothing that the old heads could say to stop them from doing it.
I really don't care if the kids gamble, I know that it might be the wrong thing to do though I am not the type of person to influence them to gamble even more.

It is not right for the people that are under the age of 18 years old to gamble because their minds aren't that mature to make the right decisions. The people that are under the age of 18 years old don't really need to work and support a family at that age if they were raised correctly, they should be doing other things that don't involve money so they could build a better future for the people that are surrounding them.

People who don't have the money to gamble with should be not allowed to gamble as they aren't investing their own money but rather using their parents or other relatives income to gamble. It doesn't matter whether they are below 18 or not till they know what they are doing and understand the risks of gambling. I've seen college students gambling and they start borrowing money from friends to gamble which shouldn't be the way. They need to use their own earnings rather than be in debt. Gambling sites that ask proof are doing the best to avoid these risks.

Tons of kids gamble, depends what you mean.   We used to gamble on marbles and coin throws, you have to get the coin closest to the wall and whoever does that will win all the coins.    I cant remember any of it being for big money though, alot of kids now are getting captured by their smart phones and companies which target them as an easy market though Im fairly sure its illegal it definitely happens

Many children were playing gambling since I was on grade school. And definitely I was one of them. I used to play coin tossing and text money because I like to raise my money and to eat many in school. I was influenced by my friends. And sometimes I win and win.

I have seen kids under 18 to gamble physically. But the number is very low. Most of them prefer online gambling because it feels more comfortable there. And there are different types of gambling. Proper education can prevent kids from serious types of gambling like huge amount of money.

And also playing marbles with my friends it was really fun when I think about it brings back the old times,
Now the kids don't really go out to play I think they are missing a lot of fun when I compare what we do back then.

Yes, in my country, there is a lot of peoples under 18 years gamble online. but when you ask me how they verify there accounts by ID. I can say they haven't accounts. They only do gambling by placing bets in someones have a verfied account in gambling site like planetwin356. So they just pay him with local currencie and the owner place the bet for them. I want to know if anyone here gambles or have gambled under the age of 18, I feel like there are many kids who do this and I am interested to see how many people actually gamble under 18, if you have any friends that gamble or have gambled under 18 include them.


EDIT: I mean mostly kids online, its hard to be a kid and gamble physically. I feel like the gambling rate for kids is increasing a lot and is gonna be a problem in the future, especially with the CS:GO situation.

You didn't specify your question if it is in the internet or physical gambling. Because in physical gambling it is easy to determine if the kids doing gambling but if this is for bitcoin online gambling that would be hard to trace it because of the anonymity and pseudonymous.

There are many below 18 underaged teengaers who use to gamble nowadays in my country i think 4 out of 10 who gambles and know how to play some card games. This will be a big problem in the society because many more teenagers are going to gamble and get addicted on it.
