I'm not sure on what the right age is in other countries, but in my homeland, it's 21. I think the majority of it is 21, but I just don't know for sure.

Who's to blame for that, I guess it is not the progressing technology should be blame, instead blames are all to the parents or guardians for failure to do their job in monitoring their kids.
Nonsense. You can't control and monitor kids 24 hours/day 7 days week, that would make you bad parent and kids will probably hate you. You can guide them and teach them what is good and what is bad. It's only up to them if they want to take advice and guidelines or not.
Yeah you are right if he already be a parent must teach his kids and let his know about gambling before 18 year old so he can tell how bad affect we got from gambling.

If a bitcoin casino/dice sites do that they're going to lose a lot of customers and money. bitcoin gamblers care about their identity, they don't like giving their documents to a casino/any site lol.
There's nothing one can do to stop kids from doing gambling, one can just explain and let the kid decided if gambling is bad or good for him/her.

I don't think that we need to worry about teenagers that are under 18 who are playing in Bitcoin gambling site because as what I know the majority of the Bitcoin Users are older than 21 Years Old. What we need to worry about is the kids/teenagers who actually bet with their fellow classmates, we can't stop them as they have their own money to spend and we don't know when they are doing it. For what I know it will be a bad start when they grow up having a habit of gambling in order to have more money. And I know that as a fact because I have a friend who always needs money because he grew up betting games in the NBA.

Gambling is played for people over the age of 18, but, to date, there are still so many people playing gambling but under the age of 18. Well, maybe this could be a factor of promiscuity, or because of the environment. So many people under 18 years of playing gambling to date.

I want to know if anyone here gambles or have gambled under the age of 18, I feel like there are many kids who do this and I am interested to see how many people actually gamble under 18, if you have any friends that gamble or have gambled under 18 include them.

EDIT: I mean mostly kids online, its hard to be a kid and gamble physically. I feel like the gambling rate for kids is increasing a lot and is gonna be a problem in the future, especially with the CS:GO situation.

EDIT2: Another question to ask, is what is your opinion on the topic of kids gambling, do you think it is a growing problem or a problem alone for that matter?

EDIT3: What is the best way to counter this problem without websites having to know your exact identity?

Another question to ask, is what is your opinion on the topic of kids gambling, do you think it is a growing problem or a problem alone for that matter?
- In my view on this matter,  it is true that kids gambling now was growing problem, I think some of the country
are also facing this kind of a problems which is not good actually Because they are just a kids and young.
Who's to blame for that, I guess it is not the progressing technology should be blame, instead blames are all to the parents or guardians for failure to do their job in monitoring their kids.
It is true that kids under the age of 18 have been exposed to gambling especially in the online world which gambling sites doesn't ask for their age to proceed but if they did then they can just easily lie about it. It is important to know that gambling is risky and you can't rely your money in that for profiting. That is in fact what they say to adults which in the eyes of this kids seems an easy way to earn but in fact it is the other way around that is when you lay your eyes again to your money and found it gone. Though adults know what gambling is and they are wise enough to enter this but we must educate this kids what gambling really is.

Age doesn't matter now in gambling since gambling now were already on online terms, gambling now doesn't require much information in their player so everyone is allowed to join and play.
but to me i think age play important role in bitcoin, because still bitcoin is used as for trading because still bitcoin still cannot be use as currency therefore people are using bitcoin for investment, therefore kids do not need for investment, but when bitcoin will be use as currency  then they will start using bitcoin as currency. i think in this form most of the people who are using bitcoin i think their age will be between 25 t0 50 years.

In my opinion it will be better to stop this blame game and tell the truth on the forum. The online casinos just ask if you are 18 or less. They don’t inquire further for in this regard. The kids misinterpret and make false statement on entering a website.

It is basically the weakness of the system that it teaches the kids to make false statement. We all are equally responsible for it being a society.

I disagree on blaming the parents or guardians for not being able to prevent underage kids to know about gambling. We all know that the technology has improved so fast that some parents or older people can not keep with the modern technology while young people can and are able to learn many things with it.

For me, it is not right to put the blame on our parents since we are capable to decide on our own. I know that they are the one who should be guiding us but that does not mean that in every fall we make, the blame should be put on them.

By law, parents are responsible for their children to a certain age. If a child commits a crime, then his parents did not properly educate him. Basically - it is, but there are exceptions.

Not all cases because there are parents do tried their best as they can on parenting well on their children but still it end up worse because of the influence of outside world and it cant really be avoided and this cases are really common nowadays and even myself could really prove that because im a parent which i do really do my best to guide them in the best good possible ways but still there are really times they do mess up.

It's not applicable now that gambling is just for the older ones. Because of modern technology, even the young ones can bet into online casino's but for the real casino's they are not allowed. But we are also in the new generation where everyone is now allowed to gamble, man or woman, young or old it's looks like everyone are into the same state.

I wonder if monitoring Kids make us a bad parent.  It seems in your case, it is bad parenthood.  So what is good parenthood then?  Letting kids do their own things?  There is an ordinance in my country where parents were the one to be punished once their kids were caught roaming around the street after curfew hours.  This only mean that this kids are parents responsibility.  Sometime parents need to punish kids or ground them or even monitor them to make sure these kids are growing according to the value they wanted this kids to learn.  So being responsible parents, we should implement stuff that our kids will take our advice because it is for their own good but not to the point of abusing their rights.

As for the online gambling, we can setup limiter in our pc's so that minors won't have access to gambling sites .  It is better than monitoring them 24/7 while they are using pc.

I agree with it, we can set limitation's for our children by giving them a restricted access there are many applications we can use for it. Example, if you'll open that website you can put a password on it before you can start browsing.

Gambling is played for people over the age of 18, but, to date, there are still so many people playing gambling but under the age of 18. Well, maybe this could be a factor of promiscuity, or because of the environment. So many people under 18 years of playing gambling to date.

It's not applicable now that gambling is just for the older ones. Because of modern technology, even the young ones can bet into online casino's but for the real casino's they are not allowed. But we are also in the new generation where everyone is now allowed to gamble, man or woman, young or old it's looks like everyone are into the same state.
Technology sonetimes just make things worse , makes our lives harder instead make it easier.
An online casino really allow people to get an easy access to gamble even for the under age.
And i believe a lot of people did gamble since they are under 18 , pretty unfortunatr.

Ofcourse many kids under age 18 are making Gambling, even when I entred in the bitcoin then bitcoin Gambling was totally unknown for me .
In the beginning I was the user of the freebitco.in where I was able to make 300 satoshi per hour by clear the capatcha but there was option to multiply the bitcoin ( I don't know at all that was Gambling ) I tree that high low bet game and lost all earning , so here I can say most of the kids plays the internet gambling by mistake .
And it is not the fault of the parents or the sites , it is duty of the sites to determine the identity exactly of the user who is at your site whehter what is the age of that visitors ( whether is teen or ked or young or old ) .

That is the good and bad part of these crypto-currencies because anyone can gamble without showing their real identity. Earlier kids were having difficulty to access these things but it was not impossible to still they can find fake documents but bitcoins has made very easy for everyone to play gambling online. I started gambling very late and my first bet was only after 30 years.

But this is just some disadvantage of technology compared to it's benefits for us. Even if there is no online gambling casino. People that under 18yrs old can gamble too. Like lottery and poker in their houses. In our country there is a tradition on every burial, there are gambling so that the money collected from it will help to the funeral fee.
